Following his previous progress and the recent PS Vita game exploits, this weekend Sony PlayStation Vita hackers Major .Tom (frtomtomdu80) and mr.gas (gabaas1) shared a proof-of-concept (PoC) video demo which shows currently unplayable PS Vita games running on Sony's PlayStation TV (PSTV) platform.
Check it out below, and from Twitter:
The Z: How about Gravity Rush?
mr.gas: 90% of the games r working
Mike Aransky (IGN): awesome.. How did you do it?
mr.gas: backdoor things
reprep: Just wondering, is PS3 remote play compatible with your hack on PSTV? Just like you enabled welcome park?
mr.gas: yes.
reprep: That is great to hear. I can have both PS3 and PS4 remote play in one machine. Great.
This POC was created by mr.gas, all credit goes to him.
This might get released, but this would be part of something bigger (who said custom themes? )
Update: Below is the first PS Vita Savedata Decryption as well from mr.gas with details as follows:
Download: FF-X(Vita savedata).zip
To quote: maybe someday we will be able to launch our user land exp. I replaced my account id and psid with asterisk (***).
