It seems each year is going by faster, and 2017 is no exception as Sony is already promoting PlayStation Experience 2017 in Anaheim, California this December 9th featuring the Capcom Cup with early bird tickets available.
Last year's event seemed underwhelming to many, so here's to hoping this year Sony will be able to captivate their audience with some true PlayStation magic!
Below are the available deets courtesy of SIEA Social Media Director Sid Shuman, to quote:
We’ve got a special treat for early bird ticket holders: an invitation to a special event held on the evening of Friday, December 8th, the night before the event formally kicks off. During the special event, you’ll have a chance to get up-close and personal with game developers and PlayStation personalities. Should be fun!
The Special Event features limited capacity and will only be available to fans who purchase the two-day Early Bird Pass.
In other news: Capcom Cup 2017 is joining forces with PlayStation Experience again this year! At PS Experience, a special tournament stage will be dedicated to the highest-level Street Fighter V competition in the world, with matches taking place all day on Sunday, culminating in the Grand Finals event on Sunday evening.
Watch the top qualifying players from the 2017 Capcom Pro Tour battle their way for more than $250,000 in prizing and the chance to be crowned the 2017 Street Fighter V World Champion. More details on Capcom Cup 2017 will be shared later.
Also, don’t forget to grab the 2017 Capcom Pro Tour DLC on the PlayStation Store! Proceeds from this content will go to support the 2017 Capcom Pro Tour and help boost the grand prize pool of the 2017 Capcom Cup!

Today Gearbox Publishing announced their first-person action / adventure game We Happy Few is coming to PlayStation 4 on April 13, 2018 with a PS4 trailer video below!
The alternative 1960s England style game takes place in the city of Wellington Wells where conformity is key with citizens blocking out their traumatic memories of the town's past using a literal happy pill called “Joy.”
Those who pre-order at PlayStation Store will also get a new PS4 Theme and the in-game Jolly Brolly parasol weapon, and here's more from Gearbox Publishing Community Coordinator Meredith Hershey to quote:
Playing through the storylines of three distinct citizens with wildly different perspectives, you’ll explore Wellington Wells, encounter intriguing characters, and uncover a few secrets along the way.
Take advantage of each character’s playstyle, whether by choosing to fight your way out of conflicts, sneak past unseen, or blend in with the townsfolk to avoid their suspicion.
Just don’t get caught off your Joy. Only Downers refuse to take their Joy, and you don’t want people to think you’re a Downer, do you?
We Happy Few’s psychedelic, retro-futuristic world is procedurally generated, so you’ll never experience the same gameplay twice. The world of Wellington Wells is populated by colorful, complex characters and rich questlines, making each playthrough a unique experience!
We Happy Few will be available for $59.99 on PlayStation 4 on April 13th, but you can pre-order to get 15% off the total price – plus the in-game Jolly Brolly parasol weapon – from now until launch. As an exclusive bonus, PS4 users will receive a We Happy Few PS4 dynamic theme made by Truant Pixel!
Those who seek further adventures in Wellington Wells can purchase the We Happy Few Deluxe Edition to access the DLC Season Pass! The Season Pass will consist of three pieces of additional game content, which will be released as they become available.
Superfans can pre-order the We Happy Few Collector’s Set, a separate box set chock full of groovy goodies, including:
Replica Bobby Mask
The “You Look Smashing” 3-Tiered Lamp
Uncle Jack Alarm Clock
We Happy Few Soundtrack on Vinyl
And more!
The Collector’s Set will run for $149.99, but quantities are limited, so act fast to get yours!

But how can we exploit PS3's WebKit engine then?
Well, that's a matter of time, you can look up on the Internet about old Webkit bugs and test if they work on the PS3, then you could craft an exploit from them. But what's the point of running unsigned code on the userland in the PS3 nowadays when Custom Firmwares are up on all the Scenes and Downgrading has become a very used technique in order to install a full-blown Custom Firmware on the PS3?
Well, there are a lot of people that can't afford a downgrader, or they don't know how to solder, or they fear that they will kill the PS3 by doing thoose things... There are a lot of reasons to research on newer PS3 models, but the first one is: Doing it for fun as past hackers did it.
Hey! Where's my TL;DR
Well, i'll resume this as much as I can: Motivated by some fellas that were porting PS4 WebKit exploits to PS3, found out that they can't work on the PS3 because Sony has (Again) failed to provide a good WebKit base by removing functionalities that are useful (In this case, TypedArrays) in the Webkit exploiting world.

ATELIER SOPHIE ~THE ALCHEMIST OF THE MYSTERIOUS BOOK~
Recently VVildCard777 tweeted a PSA out letting those with a stock PS4 1.76 and below console who haven't updated their Firmware know not to ever allow any of THESE Sony URLs to connect to it because when they do a special piece of data in the operating system is removed.
This comes after zecoxao's virgin PS4 OS backup comparison of the normal / JIG bank encrypted area inside the chunk at 0x9C0000.
Sony also removes the 'special piece of data' whenever a new PlayStation 4 console (regardless of OFW version) is updated from the stock version or accesses those URLs, however, currently scene developers are interested in those with untouched PlayStation 4 consoles on 1.76 and below.
He notes: "to those misunderstanding, the act of UPDATING a NEW PS4 OR letting those urls connect to a NEW PS4 removes the data."
Further detailing: "no you need virgin PS4, isolated on a network to access enc sflash data through FTP with a kernel exploit. ->/dev/sflash0s1.cryptx3b"
Here are the Sony PS4 Block URLs to never allow to access your stock / virgin PlayStation 4 from Paste.Ubuntu.com:
