PlayStation 5 Rumors from Michael Pachter and Tidux with PS5 ETA
Sony already confirmed the PlayStation 5 next-generation video gaming console is in development, and following yesterday's tipoff of PlayStation 4 Firmware 5.0 coming late this summer industry insider Tidux revealed a potential PS5 estimated time of arrival (ETA) alongside some predictions from Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter below! 
Before we jump in, if you haven't seen it yet there's a new Sony MEME in the Shoutbox message of the day (MOTD) and Nintendo Switch owners will be pleased to know BigBlueBox has officially kicked off the scene with some game cartridge dumps.
According to Michael Pachter Sony is expected to cut the PS4 price to $249 and the PS4 Pro price to $349 this holiday season, with GamingBolt.com reporting he also states the PS5 will likely be backwards compatible with the PS4 Pro and may launch in 2019.
Tidux also shared some juicy rumors of his own over the last 24 hours, hinting that the PS5 may be announced at E3 2018 and released in late 2019... which corroborates the Wedbush Securities analyst's PlayStation 5 ETA as well.
So got 3 rumors for you, I don't now anything about it, how true or not it is but I will share with you and let time will tell

Next PS4 System Software Update Beta Signups Start Today!
Ok, this is your chance RIGHT NOW so don't blow it. Seriously, so many people wanted 'burner accounts' when the Last PS4 Beta went live, and then others would lock people out of them upsetting those kind enough to share so Register to Be a Beta Tester (Europe / Japan) now to avoid all the hassles! 
Here are the deets straight from Sony Interactive Entertainment America's Andrew Kelly, to quote:
We’re getting ready for the next major system update for PS4, and can use some help from PS4 owners to test it out ahead of launch. Starting today, you can sign up for a chance to be a beta tester and get an advance look at some of the improvements and new features coming to PS4.
You can register to be a beta tester anytime between today and the start of the beta in early August. Users must be 18 years or older. Once the beta starts, we’ll close registration.
Beta testers for our previous major system software update, version 4.50, got an early peek at features like external HDD support, custom wallpapers, Quick Menu refresh, and much more before launch.
If you’re part of the program, you’ll receive an email with instructions on downloading the beta version of the next system software. In order to sign up, you’ll need a PS4 with an internet connection, and access to a Master Account.And remember — you can roll back to the previous system software at any time.
Warning: If you're on a jailbroken PS4 console don't update to the BETA as @DEFAULTDNB confirmed the following via Twitter, to quote:
"You can only downgrade to the current highest released OFW (in this case 6.20) regardless of what firmware you updated from. It's hard coded now."

DumpFileCturt101: DumpFile for Developers on PS4 Firmware 1.01
Today VVildCard777 announced on Twitter that he's ported DumpFile to work with PlayStation 4 OFW 1.01 for those those utilizing the recently released PS4 Dlclose Exploit for Firmware 1.01 jailbreak. 
He states this DumpFile port was done both for fun and out of necessity as Hitodama's is not currently compatible with PS4 1.01 OFW, so now it functions with CTurt's work for developers to make use of.

AtariBox: First Images and Console Details Revealed by Atari
In a recent newsletter video game legends Atari revealed the first AtariBox images and AtariVCS console details alongside the official site AtariBox.com.
This is what's confirmed thus far on their latest console gaming venture, to quote: First look at the Ataribox design.

We’ve been blown away by the feedback since the teaser release, and today, we’re excited to share an exclusive first look at the Ataribox design with you. Our objective is to create a new product that stays true to our heritage while appealing to both old and new fans of Atari.
Inspired by classic Atari design elements (such as the iconic use of wood, ribbed lines, and raised back); we are creating a smooth design, with ribs that flow seamlessly all around the body of the product, a front panel that can be either wood or glass, a front facing logo, indicator lights that glow through the material, and an array of new ports (HDMI, 4xUSB, SD). We intend to release two editions: a wood edition, and a black/red edition.
As you can guess, those ports suggest modern internal specs. It also means that while we will be delivering classic gaming content, we will also be delivering current gaming content.
We know you are hungry for more details; on specs, games, features, pricing, timing etc. We’re not teasing you intentionally; we want to get this right, so we’ve opted to share things step by step as we bring Ataribox to life, and to listen closely to Atari community feedback as we do so.
There are a lot of milestones, challenges and decision points in front of us in the months ahead. We’ll be giving you lots more information and status updates as we progress, and we are thrilled to have you along for the ride!
