ESP8266 PS4 RetroGamerFirm with 4.55 Exploits by RetroGamer74

Today PlayStation 4 developer @RetroGamer74 (Twitter) made available PS4 RetroGamerFirm firmware in the form of retrogamerfirm.bin and retrogamerfirm_en.bin (English) for ESP8266 chips which offers PS4 4.55 exploits and popular payloads including AppToUSB, HEN, HEN-VR, DUMPER, BACKUP, FTP, Enable Browser, Block FW Updates, Unblock FW Updates, Arabic Guy v1.0 GTA V ModMenu, WildeModz v.1.1 GTA V ModMenu, Lamance v.0.7 GTA V ModMenu.

English Installation Instructions

• Download the ZIP package of this repository
• Use retrogamerfirm_en.bin if you want firmware in english language.
• Flash ESP8266 firmware using next flasher.
• You can flash the firmware using Windows x86, Windows x86_64, or MacOSX.

Once running PS4:

• Settings -> Networking setup.
• Choose option Customized.
• Select WiFi network identified by PS4Wifi. (Password not required)
• Select Automatic IP.
• DNS IP, Set values for Primary and Secondary DNS to: 10.10.10.1
• Set next options to their default values, until you reach the end of the networking setup.
• Finally go to the Users Guide, in the Settings. The website installed into ESP8266 firmware will be shown. Ver: 0.8

this is my board NodeMcu DevKIT ESP8266 12E, 4 MB WIFI, CH340 v3 USB IoT (Newest) its says underneath it to flash at baud rate 9600 and i tried that and still no luck

Sorry about that should have added drivers for other operating systems other than windows 10.

Perhaps specify the other driver was for windows 10 users. These are for windows 7 and up. @Migg22 if you still need em here they are.

@barelynotlegal I didnt see the other post my friend just the small response you gave me when I asked the question. Was I correct in what I mentioned or am I wrong?

did u use nodemcu-pyflasher 3.0? select wipe all data and use the 8266bin file from @RetroGamer74 or the playground by @pearlxcore (link in post by @spider197312 top of the page) or retrogamerfirm_en.bin READ the info for setting DNS and wifi

in pyflasher i left everything to default except for the com-port and the erase all data. i also used the driver ch340 i downloaded it from the website on the back off the esp (mine was wemos: https://wiki.wemos.cc/downloads

I'm not sure about the needs of Original payload also, but anyway that's not too much effort. So I will add Original Payload in a couple of hours to the PS4 ADMIN. As you know you can get further information about all projects, GitHub, and firmwares in www.retrogamer.tech
