GenGP4 (Replaces PKG Kitchen) by XVortex, PS4 FTP via Webpage

Today PlayStation 4 developer @XVortex kicked us out of the kitchen by announcing that his PKG Kitchen is no longer needed, and introduced his latest GP4 Generator all-in-one utility called GenGP4 which combined with the FTP server is everything you need to dump PlayStation 4 games including a more reliable tree-decrypting method alongside shorter instructions below!

To quote: "No more .pkg extraction, .pfs extraction, file merging etc. FTP server dumps the game to HDD folder, then gp4gen sanitizes this folder and generates the .gp4."

To quote from @XVortex's condensed guide on using GenGP4:

1) Turn on the console, insert disc (or run psn title), install all game patches;
2) Plug-in the USB stick, run the ps4-dumper payload (.bin or standalone);
3) Run your game, make sure to get main menu, minimize game (PS Button);
4) Wait till completion. When the process is finished the lights stop blinking
and console will shutdown automatically (it is normal, not a panic shutdown);
5) Turn on your console, remove disc, uninstall the game (for further testing);
6) On PC: Plug-in the USB Stick, then open gengp4.exe, point into CUSAxxxxx dir
and press Generate .GP4, You should get the 'Done.', then press Save .GP4;
7) Open .gp4 in the orbis-pub-gen and build .pkg file
(You can get the orbis-pub-gen tool via PKG_Fake_Generator);
8) Run PS4HEN payload, install and test your .pkg;
9) Enjoy.

Hi guys, finally i successfull dumped GTA V Cusa00411 with updates file 1.21 splitted! and work fine without need patches but best things is that when you apply patch to game, ps4 show version of game 1.21!! like retail disc! .. I believe that correct dump is to split app and update

For this guys when dump, ALWAYS splitted file main game and update game because is correct way in future to will be apply other updates without dump all game.. and we can share. only updates file to apply with your backup main game

If we want i can share update file for try it to apply to dumped game 1.00

I wonder if you had merged the 1.20 update, would it accept this 1.21 update and show the updated version on info screen? That would enable merged update+game pkgs to update in the future if a 4.06+ exploit is released? I wonder if you could also apply the 1.21 split update over a merged 1.21 package for it show app_ver info?

Just getting around to trying v1.6 dumper. I love the configure file and being able to set the message interval greater than 60 seconds! Thx again for your hard work. Now to test out the update split package feature.

I don't know if work apply 1.21 into game that are merged with 1.20..
but best way is to create GAME DUMP and PATCH DUMP, also because ps4 says correct version of game and is important.
Now I re-dump all my backup on 2 splitted files and share updates in fpkg for you (but I need time for this)

But test it before you upload all! I think the update fpkg works only for the game fpkg which you have select by creation of the update fpkg with fake pkg generator

I have my Witcher 3 Update fpkg uploaded for test,but no Feedback!! I have created a new game pkg(works perfect) and test it by myself and the update dont work for it (Can not install)!

Please give me Feedback if the update work for every dump of the game. Perhaps something is wrong with my Update fpkg i dont know!!!

Ok now i compare my pkg! They Have different size!(I dont know why)

The dump i have created with the pkg Kitchen 1.3 has 28.995.456 KB and the new dump with the v1.6 Dumper has 28.995.392 KB

Both works perfect! But Update works only with the chosen one in the pkg fake Generator!

I think the Problem is that the pkg are Little different!
