Grid Legends v3.11, Lawn Mowing Simulator v1.02 & Quake v1.06 PS4 PKGs

Today's backported PS4 PKGs include Grid Legends v3.11 (9.60), Lawn Mowing Simulator v1.02 (9.51) and Quake v1.06 (9.50) by @CyB1K (aka Cyberpt1000 on Twitter) for use with Jailbroken PS4 consoles in the PlayStation 4 Scene.

This comes following some other recently backported PS4 Game PKGs including:

I know all the stuff I like to play is pretty much psn only titles unless a company picks up the rights to release it this Pocky & Rocky Reshrined looks good I just got in the mail but just my luck its a 9.03 lol.

Not sure this is the best thread to add this post to, but I've been thinking about how these post 9.00 firmware releases are being 'cracked'. As far as I can see there's 3 methods that would allow it:

1) PS4 - Firmware 9.60 has been jailbroken by someone, somewhere, allowing all current titles to be backported.

2) PS5 - New(ish) firmware has been jailbroken allowing PS4 9.60 based games to be backported.

3) PS5 - The root keys that Andy Nguyen recovered have allowed software to be created (on PS4/PS5 or even PC/MAC) that can decrypt firmware to provide the ability to crack new releases.

Anyone got any other ideas? Glad it's all happening, though!

No need to think too hard. There have been exploits that allow access to the file system, but they do not give us access to execute unsigned code. So we can copy files out of the ps4 but we cannot run unsigned games on higher firmwares. This is why you are only seeing backports of these newer games, that is the only way to run them.

I would really love a rundown on why forbidden west is taking so long. Kind of sucks that elder ring was out the first day the exploit was but forbidden west is the one game you can't actually play everywhere.
