Install Game Updates without Updating Firmware

If i update my ps4 from stock 3.55 fw to 4.0 offline, after is possible that ps4 download updates games without log to psn? Thanks

Correct, if you update the PS4 Firmware (not recommended) then you would be able to update the games since you'd be on the latest version but lose your current Firmware and most likely the ability to jailbreak the PS4 in the future.

i would update only to 4.0 or 4.01 not to last firmware 4.07. I'm on stock 3.55 and ps4 not download nothing of any games update. (it ask psn log).

The force_update section indicates what the required PS4 Firmware version is to download updates for most games on their network.

Many here are on 4.05 or below (what you mentioned trying, and what PS4 hackers recommend being under) but updating only to 4.01 or 4.05 for example won't allow you to download the game updates so you'd be in the same boat as now... updating further to meet Sony's requirements or waiting to update games.
