How to use:

1. Check your game REGION CODE [EX : PES 2013 / BLES01709 ]
2. Open CFW2OFW V.1.2, with RUN ADMINISTRATOR, Then click PS3 GAME UPDATE [by aldotools]
3. type your game REGION CODE to Title ID : then verify, download 1 update files only [game update must have EBOOT.BIN inside USDIR]
4. Right click and download
5. select load pkg , go to kdw_tools\downloads\your pkg shown here, select it
6. select PS3_GAME folder of your backup game, THEN OK, wait until
" message : converting successful " close application then "
7. new folder NPXXXX And BLXXXX,
8. if u in ofw 4.70 Below, inject NPXXXX And BLXXXX folder into your backup with TRUANCESTOR BACKUP INJECTOR JIKKYU
9. if u in ofw 4.70++, copy NPXXXX And BLXXXX , into your external drive, then
copy to your PS3CFW in dev_hdd0/game/here
10. then rebuild database your ps3 cfw, then data transfer to your ps3 ofw

Note:
1. U can simple use "DATABASE REBUILDER.PKG" install into your ps3 cfw to
rebuild database with 1 click

3. Please RUN ADMINISTRATOR KDW CFW2OFW V.1.2.EXE
4. do not rename your ps3gameupdate.pkg files NAME , leave it original
5. If you got error / crash, run task manager, please end task "make_npdata"/"convert.exe" .
then try again, if you got same issues, restart your PC

I'm having trouble converting NFS Most Wanted BLUS31010 , i used KDW tool and the russian tool , they both fail at this point , what am i doing wrong ? This game is not listed as problematic

Can anyone explain what rebuilding does ? I can see the PS3_GAME added to XMB and the update to Game Data Utility. Does rebuilding also copy the update into PS3_GAME ? I was thinking it would help to gain some hdd space if you copy the update inside PS3_GAME then delete it from Game Data Utility

As a feedback , i was having trouble getting GTA5 to fit on a small hdd , when you do game install then the updates you might get a no space message. But i did the updates first then the install game and there was plenty of space left. Explain that !

GTAV updates take 2 or 3gb, data installed take 8gb, game itself take 15 gb, use a bigger hdd. This is no magic, use your mind.

I also like to ask about games with PS3_EXTRA folder , such as Little Big Planet 2 , what do you do with that PS3_EXTRA , you can just ignore it ?

NFS MW Worked for me without issues and I used a ripped backup (removed misc languages) I guess the GOW Ascension gives out an error because it's one of those games with a "duplex intro" added into the game during boot.

As for LBP2 You can get rid of the PS3_Extra since those are just videos and demos and some stuff for the PSmove and the conversion will not mess around with it anyway. I haven't converted LBP2 yet because I messed my copy by mistakenly ripping some stuff that was actually needed to make the game run and I don't have my original backup with me.

I was able to have metal gear solid phantom pain, dragon ball xenoverse, dragon's dogma: dark arisen and gta V. Hopefully we can do something about games without official updates like Skyrim: legendary edition and fallout new vegas: ultimate edition.

NO... that was told hundreds of times, is not possible to run games without updates, just get the regular versions.
