Solution
The easiest way is to fire it up and make sure it works, then check under System Settings for the firmware version it's currently on (9.00 and below for Goldhen).

Settings > System > System Information. Check under the system software version.

Solution
When turning on the PS4, if it's above 9.00 firmware I'd pass on it should you wish to use the console with Goldhen.

If you're tech-savvy and have time to mess with swapping PS4 internal components like motherboards further research is recommended.. much is detailed in other topics, youtube, etc.
