PS3 OFW 4.81 Backup Games Injection LICDIR Mods Listing and Guide

Yesterday we saw a brief guide covering PS3 Games with Older LIC.DAT Titles, and @ShadixAced shared a link HERE of a PlayStation 3 game compilation listing that can be injected with backups using PARAM.SFO license directory modifications with update patches running on OFW 4.75 through 4.81.

If you want to prepare the specified games for the console on the console, then see below: The method, how to make the game work, is pretty simple. The game should have an official patch (and how else will we launch it from the internal disk?).

The patch is being unpacked, the contents of USRDIR, except for EBOOT.BIN and updated files (if any) are taken from the disk version. PARAM.SFO (from the disk) is edited. Change the Category from DG to HG and App Version to the patch version.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z + DLC has been added, reported to work above 4.50 OFW.

All games (except for Alien Isolation, reported not to work) converted by xayk (pspx.ru) might work, he tests them on a OFW 4.80.

For example : Battlefield Hardline was converted.

sorry bro about dbz boz , I'm the one who added it to russian website but it does have lic.dat so probably won't work on 4.81 ofw , cuz I tested it on 4.66 through backup method

Actually, if it's the old version of it, it might work, so wait for someone to test and see !

If you want, I can even test it for you. I have a 4.81 non JBable "Ultra Slim" CECH4004 i think.

Ok If you would like try it that would be good for the community, but probably won't work it's a game of 2014 so probably not old ver, the old version are below 2009 thanks anyway

yeah , I've seen them , the only way to bypass the lic.dat file in 4.81 ofw is by using the demo's eboot and full game , but this game dbz already tried with demo eboot but won't work ... only stayed as a demo

what's the difference with this and the inject method released a few month ago? seems like it's just the same.

both needing game updates, modded lic.dat, creating a NP folder and such
