PS4 Jailbreak Questions

Hey guys! I just wanted to ask for some help. I always jailbreak my iPhones, so I thought hey, look there is a jb for consoles. And I just wanted to ask if you guys could answer my questions.

1. What does a jailbreak on consoles do?

2. Can I somehow install steam, and play with my friends on pc?

3. Can it damage my ps4? (Just got the pro, so im not sure if I want to)

4. Is it undetected, so sony can't console ban me or something?

5. How do I play online when a new update comes to ps4?

1. dont really know yet for now only dev kit and linux
2. yes on the linux
3. there's a chance but low risk i think
4. no one realy know anything about the console ban system on ps4 (because there is no proper jailbreak yet)
5. the devs will make a spoof i hope
