Just a few weeks ago we saw the release of PS4 Firmware 5.00, and today Sony issued a PlayStation 4 System Software 5.01 Update which hopefully fixes the E-801809A8 errors, and likely patches the recently reported Custom PKGs or perhaps the PS4 5.00 Kexec... we'll know more once scene devs have a chance to decrypt and examine it. :sneaky:

Download: PS4 Firmware 5.01 Update (US) / PS4 Firmware 5.01 Update (EU) / PS4 Firmware 5.01 Update (UK) / PS4 Firmware 5.01 Update (AU/NZ) / PS4 Firmware 5.01 Update (JP)

To quote from Sony's Official Page on the 5.01 OFW changes:

Main features in version 5.01 update
  • This system software update improves system performance.
PS4 More System Information on CEX OFW 5.01 (Greetz fly out 2 JerichoCFW) — Hold L1 + L3 + Triangle for 7 seconds, then press DPad Up + OPTIONS together via Dev Wiki.

Cheers to @Nesterwork and @Wultra in the PSXHAX Shoutbox for passing along the news this morning! <3

My Current PS4 status :
PS4 ==> 5.0
HDD ==> 500GB
Playing ==> Mad Max & Uncharted 4.

No, calm down people. 5.01 is only for people with bd-drive problems. It's even not an mandatory update. It does not patch anything related to an kernel exploit or custom pkg. By the way custom pkg is even not patch able it will always work with a kernel exploit like Linux or for example debug setting's etc.
