Following the recent PS4 Custom BGM and Theme PKG Files for exploited PlayStation 4 v4.05 consoles using PS4HEN, today @yyoossk let us know on Twitter that glanheit (glanheit_ST) made available PS4 Theme Editor v0.1.1 Beta followed by PS4 Theme Editor 0.1.2 Beta to make your own PS4 Custom Themes with a sample theme to use as a base template and demonstration video from his YouTube Channel below!

Here I will show you how to create a preview image necessary for creating PS4 custom theme using PS4 Theme Editor created by Empty Space:

Download & decompress PS4 Theme Editor from Empire Space's blog:

Start PS4 Theme Editor.exe:

Click Load from file and designate the folder of the custom theme that you created or that has a complex sce_sys folder etc created by others:

Then the image will be loaded as shown below:

When loading, click save under preview acquisition Click:

The preview image is saved as preview.png in the texture folder in the folder created by you or created by a compiled custom theme created by another person.

The theme introduced in the article is Shia LaBeouf Just Do It Make Your Dreams Come True Theme created by trial.

@sabasoor did u get the method to create theme pkg i am stuck its showing me error param file not valid

Same problem - how can we convert the created folder to PKG.
I tried with gengp4 and then orbis (like a game) - but it doesn't work.
Which tools, should we use ?

I GOT IT NOW do u haave fake pkg creator

just open orbis-pub-gen.exe then click on file and create new project and then select: - system software theme package and then click image0 drag and drop ur theme files then close the first window and then go command project settings select package and cope the content id from param.sfo and click generate it will pass code it and then ok and close the window and u will direct to the other window and simple just click build and voila

Perfect !! Thank you very much for your feedback - you are the only one that posted exactly how to build the PKG.
Now I did my first Theme, and it works fine.

Additionally it should be notice, that it is to build a own param.sfo with orbis-pub-sfo.exe (it's part of the Fake PKG Generator Tools)
The only thing that is important at this point is the category (PS4 System Software Theme) and a Content ID with a valid syntax (for example - XY1234-ABCD12345_00-0000000000000005).

Now I think more user can use this tool!

first go back to default theme then uninstall your theme pkg then restart ur ps4 then load HEN now install your theme and remember if u ran into probleme again its a bug u have to go back to default theme then uninstall it REMEMBER DONT UNINSTALL YOUR THEME WHILE ITS APPLIED THAT WILL CREATE A BUG i donno why hope this wil help u

I just want to be able to change the web browser Icon really!!! I have asked on a bunch of posts if anyone knows where to located the actual web browser Icon but I've never heard back from anyone?

I'm thinking in this ps4 theme editor maybe there is access to change the web browser icon???
