PS4 Update Bypasser PSProxy by Red-EyeX32 to Bypass PSN Updates

Following his PlayStation 4 Trophy (PS4 .TRP File) Extractor and PS3 LV1.ELF Embedded Files Extractor, PlayStation 4 developer Red-EyeX32 (Twitter) released a PS4 Update Bypasser application called PSProxy to bypass PSN Firmware Updates for PlayStation 4 owners... with a PS3 version coming next!

To quote: Hello NextGenUpdate, As I promised, I have made a Playstation 4 update bypasser. This little utility will allow you to bypass the 3.55 update making your system stay on a lower firmware.

Currently this has only been tested on a US console on a 3.50 firmware. To make this work for EU users all you have to do is edit the ps4-updatelist.xml included inside the .rar file from "us" to "eu". Also don't mind the PSP/PS3 Mode as those haven't been tested yet.

Instructions:

• Press start on the utility.
• Add IP and Port to the PS4.
• Sign-In to PSN
• Profit?

Please let me know any bugs you encounter, I would gladly fix the problem for you.

Changes in v2.0.0.0 update:

• Added "Copy" to Log List by right clicking the list.
• You can now export the log by right clicking.
• Few bug fixes. (Adding PS3 support next update)

I'm not sure if PS4 is any different, but during PS3 OFW updates this typically happens a few days after a new Firmware release.

To quote from garretts228: "As Sony usually does several days after each new PlayStation 3 Firmware update is released, today they have patched the proxy and PSN bypass methods following the release of the revised PS3 Firmware 3.56 rendering the PS3 DNS hacks useless once again.

Needless to say, when the next PS3 Firmware update arrives the PlayStation Network bypass methods will work again for another week or so before they are shut off, and the cycle will repeat for those unfamiliar with this pattern."

So for me this does ignore the update, I look as though I am logged into PSN but no online games will play it just says "Unable to connect to PSN".

Edit: tested using US version on 3.55.

Tried second time around says logging into server for phantom pain but nothing happens

P.s for some odd reason without realising at some point during the video pauses i had the proxy redeyes prxy off and i was still able to be online and see the trophies and what not but the ps4 was freezing up

atleast the scenes getting somewhere 1up for all contributers and there time and effort

ps4 error su-30697-5....the 'su' is a software update issue dont know what the numbers mean

opening ports on my end doesnt do anything. i noticed once the proxy is running i cant access anything i get su-30697-5 but im able to see that im online but cant access what trophies i have only how many...but when i stop proxy im able to look at every individual trophy but cant access ps store or check ps4 profile
