• Since his PKG Passcode Finder v1, PlayStation 5 developer SvenGDK released on Github via X Post a PS5 PKG Reader for Linux (ps5pkgreader_1.0.0_amd64.deb / ps5pkgreader_1.0.0_amd64.tar.gz) dubbed PS5PKGReader v1 to read debug / retail PS5 PKG files and extract some (icon0.png, pic0.png, param.json & package-configuration.xml, if exists) content.
  
  
• Since his Live Die Repeat: A Tribute to Dragon's Lair PS4 FPKG release, PlayStation 4 developer @Lapy aka Lapy05575948 on X made available a Senua's Saga Hellblade II for PS4 hombrew game to enjoy the story with simulated gameplay.

This is an awesome collection of updates! I've been sitting on a PS4 pro for years now and I FINALLY just jailbroke it (5.05) tonight.

It's great to see that the PS4 scene is still active and I didn't even realize there are graphics boosted fpkg for older systems?! Very very cool!

I'm looking forward to scouring the site and learning all of the different terms and techniques for getting the most out of the PS4. Thank you for the article!

I recently had the luck to find a ps4 for pretty cheap and on 8.20, did some research and decided to bump it up to 9.00, (idk why but for me it's easier to plug in a flash drive than to go for the pppwn variant) it's so cool that the ps4 community is so alive and hitting strong.

The hardest part about jailbreaking the ps4 is mostly the sellers and them updating the system before selling. Finding a ps4 that isn't beat up, updated or if you want a special edition Fat/ Slim/Pro model is much harder than just any ps4 you can find. But, since there's over 115 million out there you have a good chance at finding what you want eventually

Just finished jailbreaking my old PS4. Didn't think this was going to be possible after noticing it was on 9.6. Looking forward to getting involved in the scene. Shoutout to all the Devs that make jailbreaking a reality for all of us.
