Update and PS4 DLC Unlock a Retail Game Disc with FPKG?

Hi there, is it possible to update and dlc unlock a retail game disc with FPKG in a jailbroken ps4?

I have some disc from my friend in Japan gift to me (on the way shipping), I want to play the game with disc rather than digital fpkg install. So I want to know can I update and dlc unlock a retail game disc with FPKG.

DLC FPKGs might work, but patch FPKGs certainly won't. However, you can install retail patches using the Patch Installer app. Updates marked in green will work, those in red require a higher system software version.
