Since their PlayStation Indie Game Reveals earlier this month, Sony is now offering hardware including both a PS5 Development Kit and PS5 Testing Kit to newly licensed PlayStation game publishers and eligible developers to encourage new partners to get started developing for PlayStation.

This comes following last year's PS4 & PS5 DevKit Leaks for those in the PlayStation 5 Scene alongside news of more recent leaks including Bandai Namco (7/11/2022, 9:03:27 AM - 13.5 GB) via Onion Sites using the Tor client.

It is our continued goal to make PlayStation the best place to publish and play games of all shapes and sizes. Over the past couple of years, we have been thrilled to support our external publishing partners with features in Indie Spotlight events, indie montage videos on our social channels, dedicated space for PlayStation Indies on PlayStation.com, and have been working to reduce the time it takes to get a new developer on-boarded on PlayStation.

As such, we are always striving to lower the barrier of entry and improve the process for publishing on PlayStation. We’re pleased to announce a new initiative that will make it easier for new partners to hop in and get started with developing for PlayStation.

Newly licensed PlayStation game publishers and developers will be eligible to receive one PS5 development kit and one PS5 testing kit, compliments of SIE subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Proceeding the last update, Sony's incoming PlayStation Plus game PS4 and PS5 offerings for August 2022 include Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 and Little Nightmares all available beginning this August 2nd for PS Plus subscribers.

Since GTA Trilogy: The Definitive T2 Hot Mess Edition, according to a Bloomberg Report the next GTA 6 iteration is rumored to feature a playable female lead character who will be Latina alongside another influenced by Bonnie & Clyde, a fictionalized Miami starting point with surrounding areas and the addition of new cities over time.

Mainstream media outlets including IGN.com report the game is codenamed Project Americas due to a scrapped Rockstar Games plan involving large territories based on North and South America.

As for a potential release date they state, "Sources say that developers on the game are sceptical about predictions for a launch between April 2023 and March 2024 due to multiple changes on the team and bottlenecks in production.

Some developers are even said to have quit due to a lack of progress on the game recently. Developers on the team reportedly expect the game to be at least two years away, and say that no firm release date has been set internally."

Following his PlayStation 4 Trainer JSON Files and PS4 Tool Box 2.2.1.140 update, recently PS4Scene developer @DeathRGH made available on his YouTube Channel a PS4 Frame4 AFR Tutorial via Twitter that covers how to use the Application File Redirector built into Frame4.

He notes to download the latest Frame4 PS4 Payload below if you have any issues, which supports PlayStation 4 Firmware versions 5.05, 6.72, 7.02, 9.00 and 11.00 consoles.
