Final Fantasy VIII Remastered & Final Fantasy VII Remake PS4 E3 2019 Trailers
Final Fantasy fans will be pleased to hear that fast-paced action and turn-based tactics will be abundant in the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VIII Remastered PS4 titles, with E3 2019 trailer videos on the gaming legends now available! ⚔

Check them all out below, and to quote from Sony Social Media Manager Justin Massongill on Square Enix's upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo:

There’s been a lot of chatter online since FF7R’s initial reveal from die-hard fans who are skeptical of the remake’s transition to a more action-oriented battle system. It’s good to be skeptical — it’s a big shift for one of the most revered games of all time — but I am both thrilled and relieved to report that while combat looks fast-paced and action-heavy, in practice there’s far more of that traditional turn-based DNA embedded here than you might think.

In the hours following my hands-on time with the game, I found myself describing it to friends as a modernized approach to the original’s turn-based combat. Remember how much time was spent waiting for ATB gauges to fill in the original? Remake basically just gives you fun stuff to do while you’re waiting.

Sure, your ATB gauges will fill up slowly on their own, but hammering enemies with standard attacks will accelerate the process. During gameplay this means more exciting combat that still feels faithful (perhaps even reverential) to the spirit of the original game.

Allow me to elaborate. There’s a “standard attack” you can execute by hammering the Square button, and you can block with R1 or dodge with Circle. Sure, this all looks flashy and feels fun, but leaning on these skills isn’t going to get you through battles very quickly. The meat of the combat in Remake is Tactical Mode, which you can enter at any time by pressing X.

When you go Tactical, time slows nearly to a stop and you gain access to a menu with options for Abilities, Spells, and Items. You have plenty of time to plan a course of action here — think of this more like a cinematic version of the turn-based combat from the original game.

Equipping Materia to a character’s gear still grants access to various spells, and elemental weaknesses seem to play a significant part Remake’s combat. When...
Marvel Avengers: A-Day PS4 Unveiled by Square Enix at E3 2019
Proceeding the recent release of Avengers: Endgame on the big screen, Square Enix unveiled Marvel Avengers: A-Day for PlayStation 4 at E3 2019 which is slated for a May 15, 2020 release alongside an official PS4 trailer video below! 👊

To quote from Crystal Dynamics Community Manager Meagan Marie on the upcoming title:

The entirely in-engine “A-Day” trailer set the tone for an original Avengers adventure that combines cinematic storytelling with single-player and co-operative gameplay.

Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own Helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source.

The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

We also revealed Marvel’s Avengers’ world-class cast through exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, and offered a glimpse of how the story will continue long past launch. Featuring regular content updates, the game will take players on an epic journey delivered over multiple years. You’ll assemble into teams of up to four players online, master extraordinary abilities, customize a growing roster of Heroes, and defend the Earth from escalating threats.

As a community manager and major Marvel fan myself, I could not be more excited about the future of Marvel’s Avengers. Like the Avengers, you and your friends are stronger together. As such, our promise to the community is that we will not have loot boxes or pay-to-win scenarios.

Every new Super Hero, which will include additional hours of gameplay, as well as every new region will be delivered to players at no additional cost if you own the core game. Launch is just the beginning!

We can't wait for players around the world to begin their journey in Marvel’s Avengers. We’re thrilled to be partnering with PlayStation and will be bring some future surprises to PlayStation players at another time. For now, great news for PlayStation fans, you’ll be able to play the Beta First on PS4.

Watch Dogs: Legion PS4 Release Date and Premiere Trailer
At E3 2019 Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs: Legion will infiltrate PlayStation 4 on March 6, 2020 and they've made available the world premiere PS4 trailer video which can be seen below! 🚔

To quote from Senior Content Manager Zachary Ryan on the details:

Virtually every character in Watch Dogs: Legion’s version of London is a playable protagonist. As you work your way through London’s open-world streets, you’ll discover that everyone you see has different attributes and skills.

One passerby might have a knack for melee combat; if you recruit them as an Infiltrator, they’ll be great for getting up close and personal with the enemy. Another might be a doctor, granting your team an overall health buff; get them on the team, and you can survive even the toughest encounters.

These character traits aren’t decided at random but are intrinsically tied to each character’s background.

It’s this variety of stats and expertise that will drive you to recruit characters from all over London, but it’s not as simple as walking up to them and giving them a membership card. Every character in Watch Dogs Legion has their own personal life and routine. The hacker you’re pursuing may have a loved one in the hospital, or owe a tremendous debt to a loan shark.

As a member of DedSec, you can hack into the hospital’s mainframe and prioritize care for your hacker’s family or take a more aggressive route and meet the hacker’s loan shark in a dark alley and send them a message with your fists. Either way, you’re having an impact on that character’s life and daily routine, and sooner or later that hacker will come to see DedSec as an ally and join your team. How you choose to get them there is completely up to you.

You can assemble a crew of up to 20 DedSec members at a time, though the entire population is always there for you to recruit from. Enforcers prefer automatic rifles and sticky bombs. Hackers control their environment from afar, relying on their trusty Spider Bot to access hard-to-reach places.

Infiltrators are up-close attackers with the ability to cloak themselves from view for brief periods. You can switch between characters to utilize each of these diverse classes, all while leveling up your operatives and earning additional perks and modifications to help you take down the establishment.

ut don’t get careless — DedSec may have become a...
Spine PS4 Emulator for Linux Rumored, Demo Video by DevOfSpine
Amidst a Spine PS4 Emulator for Linux rumored to be in development by devofspine (YouTube Channel) come conflicting reports from both Reddit users labeling it as an old April Fool's joke and fake to established PS4 scene developers who state the SpineDemo is indeed legitimate containing PS4 symbols and function names (resolver).

Previously we've seen an Orbital PS4 Emulator in development, but according to @zecoxao (notzecoxao via Twitter) on this latest PlayStation 4 emulator to quote: "Megaman Legends runs at steady 60 fps in my ryzen 5 1050 ti (although no audio)" followed by confirming "We are doomed also works."

To quote from the README.md: NOTE This repository contains sources of a Flatpak package for spinedemo. Spinedemo is a demo version of spine which is a Wine-like PS4 emulator for Linux that is being developed in private.
