Earlier today we reported on the PS4 Slim 1 Terabyte model, and now shortman82 is back with more PlayStation 4 Slim and DualShock 4 updates today including videos demonstrating original PS4 direct communication with the DS4 and CoD.

Here is a summary from DualShockers.com on what else has been uncovered including new PS4 Slim options, DS4 battery details and button quality to quote:

• No new features or resolution options could be found in the console, but the shortman82 doesn’t have the new 4.0 system software update yet.
• According to shortman82, the console runs “unbelievably” cool and quiet.
• Triggers and buttons on the new DualShock 4 feel “more solid,” with better materials.
• Buttons and sticks are exactly the same height as the original DualShock 4 controller.
• The additional light bar doesn’t actually have a light of its own. It’s just a see-through strip on the touch pad that lets the original light shine through.
• The battery is the same 1,000 mHa one used in the current DualShock 4. That said, shortman82 mentions that he has owned the console for 24 hours, and the controller is still on two bars.
• The controller comes with an option to select the communication method with the PS4, between USB and Bluetooth. This option seems to be available only to the new version of the controller, but it does appear on the original PS4 console as well.

Finally, PSU.com spotted that U.K. used goods retailer...

Just a few days back we saw the first PS4 Slim CUH-2016A (500 GB) pictures and videos, and today industry insider shortman82 shared some PlayStation 4 Slim CUH-2016B details from the user manual including the 1 terabyte (1 TB) hard disk drive size!

DualShockers.com also points out that PS4 4K resolution appears absent from the model stating, to quote:

"Incidentally, shortman82 also mentioned that he did not find any reference to 4K resolution anywhere in the console’s operating system or box, probably indicating that the console will still have a maximum output resolution at 1080p."

Today PSN VP Eric Lempel announced that a DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor is on the way alongside a PlayStation Now Windows PC version.

The PS Now application is launching across Europe soon and is expected to arrive in North America shortly following.

Below is the scoop on their upcoming DS4 USB Wireless Adaptor as well, to quote:

We’re also introducing a new device, the DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor, which launches in early September for a suggested retail price of $24.99 ($29.99 CAD).

This adaptor will let you connect a DualShock 4 to PC and Mac wirelessly, and will enable every feature of the controller you know and love: buttons, analog sticks, touch pad, light bar, motion sensors, vibration, and stereo headset jack – as long as the gaming application supports these features.

The adaptor is a great match for playing PS Now on a computer, but you can also use it for PS4 Remote Play on PC and Mac. If you haven’t yet downloaded Remote Play on your PC or Mac, grab the installer here. Of course, owning the USB Wireless Adaptor isn’t required, as you can connect a DualShock 4 using a USB cable.

Here are the recommended specs for running PS Now on your PC:

• Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
• 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
• 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
• Sound card; USB port

A minimum 5Mbps connection is required to use PS Now on any device. We recommend a wired Internet connection for the optimal experience.
