PlayStation VR (PSVR) Headset Teardown Video by Sony Engineer
As PS VR Titles join PlayStation Store this week with the release of PlayStation VR tomorrow, Sony President Shuhei Yoshida shared a PlayStation VR headset teardown video today performed by engineer Takamasa Araki!
To quote from Wired.com: "In this video, we see Sony Interactive Entertainment mechanical design director Takamasa Araki disassemble the VR headset screw by screw, laying its innards bare.
There’s not much detail about the system’s specs—the 5.7-inch OLED display, say, or the Sixaxis motion sensors embedded in the headset that help a Playstation Camera track it in space—or the external processor unit that helps mirror your VR experience on the TV (or allows non-VR players to play alongside the PSVR wearer)."

Create PS4 ELFs from PlayStation 4 Process Dumps Guide by Zecoxao
Today PlayStation 4 developer zecoxao shared a handy guide on how to create PS4 ELFs from PlayStation 4 process dumps.
Here is it for those interested, to quote: How to Create ELFs from Process Dumps
You'll need:
Go to your playground of choice (in this case my playground is extreme-modding.de one)
Step 2:
Grab your ELF or SELF that you want to make a forgery of (i'm going to use SysCore for this)
Step 3:
Look closely at the header and pick ONLY the elf header chunk of the file. Note here: the ELF header must contain all of it's necessary bytes EXCEPT the last 32!
Step 4:
Add the necessary number of bytes until the file has EXACTLY 0x4000 bytes.
Step 5:
If necessary restart PS4 so you can clean the payload's memory and then start PS4 file ninja.
Step 6:
Go to the process of choice (in this case SceSysCore) by going to Tools->Processes, picking SceSysCore and attaching to the process.
Step 7:
Dump the first process offsets, and ONLY those in the LOWER memory range. Here's my example:
Step 8:
Copy the first segment and add it after the end of the ELF forged header. Do the same for the other segments.
Step 9:
You have now a forged elf you can use in IDA for analysis.

PSXHAX Discord Server for Voice / Text Chatting and PS4 Dev Room
If the world-famous PSXHAX Shoutbox doesn't satisfy your appetite for abuse, boredom cures, drama, emojis, funny sh!t, memes and scene luvins... recently @VultraAID and @Lucii set up a PSXHAX Discord Server that utilizes DiscordApp.com's voice and text chatting with a bunch of rooms from announcements to global news to PlayStation 4 help and also serious cat PS4 development discussion. 
We currently have the Discord widget integrated into the sidebar which is visible when Logged In for Registered PSXHAX.COM (or psxhax.com) users.
Back before the pound sign was referred to as a hashtag we used to do hilarious phone pranks via mIRC on EFnet, and although these days I no longer have the time (nor mic) to join in the fun I'll still hop on the PSXHAX Discord Server a few times a week to send sh0utz and gr33tz to whoever is idling there.
