I will post this as a separate thread from the PS4 PKG2USB as the 2 payloads vary and it saves confusion.

Original Post: I was playing around with the ext0 mount and recreating the file structure that would be there if the pkg was installed to external storage.

There is a trick I found where if you copy the CUSAXXXXX folder from /user/app to /mnt/ext0/user/app and then unplug the hdd and plug it back in it causes the ps4 to do a repair and then the game is recognized as installed on external storage and from there there are other issues.

BUT with the great work SiSTRo has done in PKG2USB with the symlinks its a lot easier to manage with exfat and just normal USB.

So building on his PKG2USB and symlinks I modified what I was working on for the ext0 mount to work with the usb0 or usb1 and symlinks.

This payload searches the entire /user/app folder and copies all installed fpkg games to usb from the system drive and creates the symlinks like SiSTRo has kindly shown us the ability to do.

If you want to target a single game not the whole folder use PKG2USB.

If you install more games just run the payload again and it will copy any new games to the USB and so on.

With symlinks you are making a link to a directory so you want to pick which USB port to have the hdd on and keep it on that same port or the links will point to the wrong directory. USB0 is what I use.

Thanks again to SiSTRo, xVortex, Anonymous, CelesteBlue!

@phsycomikeo try moving the pkg's installed by mira with apptousb but load mira first.so load mira run apptousb to move the pkg's installed by mira. i now games dump and installed when running mira are not working under hen

@anagia i dit not have that issue and all of my games are on exthdd , if you are running mira+hen try loading hen alone

How does Games Updates are supported ? I have PKG of the game and a patch i can copy the game pkg to external PS4/TITLEID but what do i need to do for the patch pkg ?

@hemi426 alright so i have a 500GB HGST HDD that i use thats exFAT and a 1TB WD Blue HDD. The HGST worked fine with me picking and choosing what games to transfer based off of the pkgs in the root and the ini in the root.

However, 1TB WD Blue isnt transfering anything. It tells me "processing CUSAXXXXX....." and keeps going to the next one instantly, even after unplugging the HDD, until it covers every game in the internal. Is only one hard drive allowed for ApptoUSB? it wasnt like that on 4.05

Do we know how can i find out what are the title id of the game installed on my PS4 ? I wanted to ignore copying of some games

@stooged have you tried to move the game The Order 1886 CUSA00785? I installed it, then I had it moved and it gave crap. mThe game simply disappeared from the PS4, as if it had been deleted, but it is installed. Just lost the link, because the size on the HD remains the same.

I installed again thinking that it would keep the same size in the internal HD, because I thought I would overwrite the files and to my surprise, the game installed again, that is, it is occupying 2 spaces. When I delete, it only deletes the last one I installed. And I can not even see the internal folders of the games on the internal disk. I wanted to delete this file that was on the PS4.

One quick fix would be to format the internal hard drive and install it all again. But I have saves and original games that I do not want to lose, so at first, formatting is out of the question.

Any idea? (Detail, I tried the backup and restore option to try to copy my saves to the external HD or USB stick, but it gives me a message saying that I have to connect with the PSN to synchronize the trophies, I say no, there it does nothing else. and detail, original game saves do not serve in fake pkg games, just to mention, so if I start an original game, I can not delete the original game and replace it with a fpkg because it does not recognize that save, ie it has to start so I have several original games that I can not move from the internal HD pro external and so they are taking up space, you can only move the backup pkgs).

NOTE: Other games that had problems while moving with App2Usb were the new God of War, all UFC and A Way out. But then the problem was another. It simply moves normally, but when I run the game, it gets stuck on the home screen for a while and then error appears.

For those games that did not work, I simply dragged back the pkg from the PS4 folder on the external hard drive to the root and deleted the PS4 from the game and reinstalled, leaving those on the internal hard drive, since the move does not work. But besides, I installed more than 15 varied games, new and old and even PS2 and moved all and all worked, just the ones I said so far have fallen. The most serious case I took was that of The Order who screwed me up and I do not know what to do. Space on the internal HD is what I lack the most. I have only 500Gb of internal HD, but 2TB of external.

Thank you!

@phsycomikeo i only use one (4tb backup plus) so i don't now. but if you use the same usbport i shoud work, maybe it's because the some games on the cusa list are installed tru mira? it should work as long you install them on your internal hdd first and you don't mix up mira installed pkg's with hen. you tried loading hen first then app2usb

@rockla same method as gamepkg install on internal.it will do the update (cusa's have to match and also have to come from the same game disk ore it wil not work (duxa's repacker can fix that if you have matching cusa's). if you want to move to ext hdd ps4/update/cusaxxxxx/patch.pkg. remember to setup the ini file. if u used the apptousb before it can be it's already made the update folder
