Recently developer Valters Tomsons (aka @sweetlv) made available OrbisDbTools, which is a cross-platform (Linux / MacOS / Windows) application consisting of open source tools for use in working with Orbis (PlayStation 4) app databases on Jailbroken PS4 systems. :geek:

Download: OrbisDbTools v0.3 (Latest Version) / GIT
  • OrbisDbTools_v0.3_linux.tar.xz
  • OrbisDbTools_v0.3_osx_x64.tar.xz
  • OrbisDbTools_v0.3_win64.tar.xz
This comes following some initial PS4 APP.DB Research, several PS4 UI Menu Mods alongside NOTIFICATION.DB Modifications and ADDCONT.DB / APP.DB Backup PS4 Payloads with more from the README.md: OrbisDbTools

OrbisDbTools
is a free cross-platform application for interacting with hacked PlayStation 4 system databases.

Features
  • Re-calculate installed application size (fixes absurd game sizes in this screen)

  • Re-enable app deletion for user installed apps
  • Hide apps that require PSN (listed here)
This tool will also automatically backup your app.db file to $TMPDIR/app.db.$TIMESTAMP when connecting via network. Local database files are backed up in file directory with .$TIMESTAMP appended to filename.

Usage
  • Download latest release from Releases section for your platform
  • Extract downloaded archive into a folder
  • Launch OrbisDbTools.Avalonia executable
  • After patching, upload resulting app.db to your PS4 at /system_data/priv/mms/app.db
  • Launch internet browser on your PS4, then go back to system menu to see your changes
⚠️ WARNING: OSX builds have not been tested at all!!!

Cheers to MSZ_MGS via Twitter for the heads-up on this earlier! 🍻

Finally! I've been waiting for this for a long time. I hated having to extract the app.db and manually do all the changes to get the delete thing back up. But the best thing is to be able to correctly have the sizes of the games.

Thank you so much guys!

not working with 5.05 as the FTP port is 1337 and the appl. failed to connect on that port with the error message not a valid IP address.
My format was 192.168.xx.xx:1337
