OK unsure if its my disk being full that is stopping me downloading anything on the linux distro. Im going to go back to scratch & retry making a larger storage capacity to see if that's the problem.

when i visit the site on the vm machine all my downloads are failing, it may be the disk capacity ive selected will retry with a 20gb storage.

@jamesblond007 I don't think that's the cause. You are using Firefox, right? When you click on Download, check if there's a prompt on top right asking you to allow download.

Sorry to bother you again trying to follow along with the fedora 35 install, im at the stage of installing the graphics drivers. however when I tried to open the terminal open folder in terminal it said it was not set.

I seen someone suggest changing this location to /usr/bin/xterm ive tried this but it just produces an error, unsure how to realign this to proceed can you help thanks

regarding the downloads issue it my selected storage was not enough i havent installed steam and I was out of storage on the 8gb virtual drive. Im currently trying again on 20gb virtual drive without issue, other than the issue mentioned above

Edit: Hi @noob404 have managed to make a back up now for the install.

Correct me if im wrong please I format a storage device fat 32. rename the back up from ps4linux.tar to psxitarch.xz. Then find a kernel & bz image that is compatible. then drop into linux rescue shell and boot by typing exec install-psxitarch.sh

Im trying this in rescue shell but not getting past that stage it may be because im getting a message cant create directory as temp file exists & cant create a back up as the file exists
