PS3 OFW 4.81 Backup Games Injection LICDIR Mods Listing and Guide

Yesterday we saw a brief guide covering PS3 Games with Older LIC.DAT Titles, and @ShadixAced shared a link HERE of a PlayStation 3 game compilation listing that can be injected with backups using PARAM.SFO license directory modifications with update patches running on OFW 4.75 through 4.81.

If you want to prepare the specified games for the console on the console, then see below: The method, how to make the game work, is pretty simple. The game should have an official patch (and how else will we launch it from the internal disk?).

The patch is being unpacked, the contents of USRDIR, except for EBOOT.BIN and updated files (if any) are taken from the disk version. PARAM.SFO (from the disk) is edited. Change the Category from DG to HG and App Version to the patch version.

I've seen alerts, solutions and videos for backing them up on PS Vita with the location of the PS3 ACT.DAT being "home/000000XX/exdata/act.dat" but not sure if there is a way to recover lost ones.

I tried as you said , downloaded this file. Copied/replaced files from 1.70 to 1.90 to the game folder. Left the Param.SFO as it is and changed Game version to 4.81 , DG to HD and app version 1.90.

After restoring backup , it shows "corrupted data" in XMB. Did I miss anything.
Please help!

I can confirm Burnout Paradise fully working on superslim 4.81 , english version BLES00455, played 20 min, didnt have any problems, what i did is:

1. Download english version - BLES00455 https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B1YLtz-QqHjwZkk1Q0k3Wk1TUWc&export=download

2. download patches 1.70, 1.80 and 1.90 and copy all content from patches to game start from lowest to 1.90 expect file PARAM.SFO leave this file from game itself, and edit it, change run from Hard disc and app version 1.90

3. than just inject game with backup and launch it, for me its worked on superslim 4.81, any free game on this console is nice
