PS3 OFW 4.81 Backup Games Injection LICDIR Mods Listing and Guide

Yesterday we saw a brief guide covering PS3 Games with Older LIC.DAT Titles, and @ShadixAced shared a link HERE of a PlayStation 3 game compilation listing that can be injected with backups using PARAM.SFO license directory modifications with update patches running on OFW 4.75 through 4.81.

If you want to prepare the specified games for the console on the console, then see below: The method, how to make the game work, is pretty simple. The game should have an official patch (and how else will we launch it from the internal disk?).

The patch is being unpacked, the contents of USRDIR, except for EBOOT.BIN and updated files (if any) are taken from the disk version. PARAM.SFO (from the disk) is edited. Change the Category from DG to HG and App Version to the patch version.

Tell me your method what u did then i will tell you what you missed

Ok. Here we go then!

1. Downloaded english version - BLES00455 https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B1YLtz-QqHjwZkk1Q0k3Wk1TUWc&export=download and extracted it.

2. Downloaded patches 1.70, 1.80 and 1.90 and copied all content from patches to game folder [PS3_GAME], starting from 1.70[except PARAM.SFO leaving this file from game itself] , followed by 1.80 and then 1.90.

3.) Edit PARAM.SFO using "PARAM_SFO_Editor" . => Changed Category : HG Hardrive Game , App Version : 1.90 [Manually entered as not available in dropdown] . Left PS3 System value as it is. SAVED...

4.) Used TABR v2.20 , put the BLES00455 folder inside 'game' folder and my Ps3 backup inside 'backup' folder of TABR. Please note I added it at 'game' folder.
1, 3, S -> Injected.

5.) Restore backup on Ps3 with the new backup created.

6.) "Corrupted data" displayed in XMB.

You have to copy and replace from patches.
Can you show screen shots of parm.sfo from game folder and patch 1.90?

Game's param.sfo screenshot is before editing , I only edited App version to 1.90 manually

Now change app version to 1.90 and in corner you can see add field click it and add target ver and change it to 1.80 save it

If it still dont work then ur patches might be corrupted. From where do u downloaded ur patches?

OK, so I need to -
Add field, Target version : 1.80
App version : 01.90

No need to change Category from Disc Game to Hard drive (HG) game ? For patches I use PS3gameupdater.

Im on Super Slim4.81 OFW and im trying to launch Jak and Daxter : The Precursor Legacy HD
But every time i launch it , it say it need a license
And i tried with Rayman Origins and i have only one hour trial...
So if someone can help me , it would be nice

Well, it didn't work again. Not sure what went wrong. I changed App version to 01.90 and added a new field - "Target Ver" , set it as 01.80 as you said. Maybe I'm injecting it wrongly.
