This is covered in numerous topics already including the PS4 Holy Grail, 5.01 PS4 WebKit, 5.05 PS4 Breacher and 5.50 PS4 OFW discussion threads but for those who missed it PlayStation 4 developer Qwertyoruiop released a PS4 v5.50 Firmware re-write of the user-level exploit code available HERE (Mirror) which he states should be 100% reliable and that the old kexploit was fixed in 5.50. :ninja:

:alert: Needless to say this is a 5.50 PS4 WebKit (Userland) exploit and not a Kernel-level exploit, meaning until a fully implemented 5.50 Kernel exploit is publicly available you won't be able to jailbreak PlayStation 4 consoles on v5.50 Firmware so don't update!

In related news, PS4 developer @Al Azif also confirmed on Twitter that he "Pushed qwertyoruiopz's webkit rewrite to the DNS server for 4.55, just mashed it together but it seems to work will take a closer look later" and updated to PS4 Exploit Host v0.4.1 alongside an update to Ps4_Serve2_v1_6.apk by stooged.

As usual the tweets can be found below alongside a demo video by @Andrew Marques for those interested.

I really appreciate their work, it's free for all. And honestly, big thanks for their patience, if i were a dev like Qwerty, Flat_z, etc, i wouldn't have the same tolerance by reading "COMING KEXPLOIT, COMING TOMORROW, ARRIVING IN 48h!" Please, be all patient and really REALLY post good questions or something that is really useful.

My 2 cents, not to offend anyone.

Instead of playing cat and mouse, we should think about how to implement exploits inside the firmware. Create a container from which it can be called up and run when the system starts, without external sources. but you only care about backup games.

I greet all the real ones

Sorry for the unrelated question but looking for some help. I have turned off auto update of my console in hopes that a 5.05 exploit is released soon. I attempted to play one of my PSN games and it's locked and I have to login to PSN (which obviously requires me to update my firmware) and setup my console as my primary (which I already did when I purchased) I do not gameshare with anyone.
I had sold a prior PS4 and did not wipe my games out but when I set the new one up I deactivated the old one online and setup the new one as my primary.

Does Sony regularly require you to sign in to keep access to your games downloaded from the PSN store?

Hay guy's checkout my new PS4 5.50 Webkit Stage 3 Video. I discuss in detail pro's and cons and what my thoughts are and more. I want people to be aware and know what to do and not do. Please share this and retweet or post on sites. I will make a tut for 5.50 JB when it fully releases. Watch Video here:
