hey guys, i have a question.

i have a houndreds of hours contaoining diablo 3 usb savegame which is bound to a psn acc from my old ps4 5.05 jb which i then sold.

now i have a new 6.72 ps4 pro. can i once 6.72 jb is out import my old savegame?

@TheB1gD4ddy If PS4 Offline Account Activator gets ported to work on 6.72 you will be able to activate your profile with your PSN AccountID and then your saves from USB will work with your profile on 6.72.

The AccountID you will use to activate your new profile will be the name of the folder that your USB saves are in it will look something like 38b2dfc42466eb28

I has some USB saves from an official (at the time) 4.55 PS4 and I was able to activate my profile with my PSN AccountID on a different 5.05 console and the old USB saves worked.

ah, so offline activator does not use a random id for the local acc to fake activate but i can choose one?

so i check my usb save cusa\ACCOUNTID\savegame and tell offline activator it should fake activate my local acc and give it that specific id i then type into the offline activator.

and since the ids of the local fake activated acc and the savegame now match i can simply important the savegame via settings? or did i miss something?

You can use a random hex number for your Id but if you use your own that is tied to your PSN account you can use your old saves

If for whatever reason you cannot find the correct AccountID I have a script that when you run it it opens a PSN login page and you you just enter your PSN username and password and the script does the work and gives you the correct hex number AccountID to use with the activator program.

Then you can just import your saves from usb using system settings like you can with an official activated profile.

thank you very much, but i know the accountid of the savegame since like said its in the folder structure?

is my description of how it has to be done correct?

yes thats correct.
Your AccountID should be 16 digits long made up of numbers and letters like the example I mentioned before. If you have that your good to go. :)

nice. that seems to be very very easy.
just wait for 6.72 jb and updated offline account activator.

btw are savegames bound to a game and work with every cusa or are savegames bound to the specific cusa they were created on?

if they're bound to specific cusa is it possible to made saves compatible with a different cusa?

Not sure if it works for all games but I had Sniper Elite 3 installed then I installed Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition which had a different CUSA so my original saves did not load with the ultimate edition. :(

I mounted the regular edition save with Save Mounter, copied the decrypted save to my PC then mounted the ultimate edition save and overwrote it with regular save.

Luckily it worked and my progress from the regular edition then loaded in the ultimate edition. :)

ok ill test that.

1. do saves that were created with a fpkg game work on the very original version the fpkg version was created from?
2. do saves that were created on the original version work on the very fpkg version that was created from that original?
