PS4 System Software / Firmware 4.55 Goes Live, Stability Update

Since their previous update last month, today Sony pushed a PS4 System Software / Firmware 4.55 Update (confirmed as non-mandatory at this time by @VultraBabe) live which appears to be another of their infamous stability updates to 'improve the quality of the system performance' which may fix the WiFi issue and patch exploit holes.

We'll update this article once we catch word on whether the JailbreakMe PS4 WebKit Userland Exploit, PS4 4.50 Kernel Read / Write Exploit or the Rumored Brazilian PS4 4.50 GameSharing Method is confirmed to be patched in OFW 4.55... until then, as usual it's recommended not to update your PlayStation 4 console.

Update: As of 4/19/2017 PS4 Firmware 4.55 has now become mandatory to login to Sony's PlayStation Network alongside some more PlayStation 4 developer findings below:

Nothing new ? Of course there is ! It is not the usual 4.55 BPF UAF kexploit, but a backport of the 5.05 BPF Double Free kexploit ! Now 4.55-5.07 use same webkit exploit and same kernel exploit !

Always update your ps4 and hope something comes out on the same fw as you or that a downgrade method comes out. It doesnt matter whether or not you update nothing will come out until monthes/years after exploit is found

Some updates are not forced when they are released like 4.06 or 4.07 for ex (i forgot which one wasnt madatory)
