previous update last month, today Sony pushed a PS4 System Software / Firmware 4.55 Update (confirmed as non-mandatory at this time by @VultraBabe) live which appears to be another of their infamous stability updates to 'improve the quality of the system performance' which may fix the WiFi issue and patch exploit holes.

We'll update this article once we catch word on whether the JailbreakMe PS4 WebKit Userland Exploit, PS4 4.50 Kernel Read / Write Exploit or the Rumored Brazilian PS4 4.50 GameSharing Method is confirmed to be patched in OFW 4.55... until then, as usual it's recommended not to update your PlayStation 4 console.
