Today Sony pushed live PS5 System Software / Firmware 23.01-07.40.00.06-00.00.00.0.0 since their previous PS5 OFW revision for those in the PlayStation 5 Scene with further details from the changelog below.

As always, DON'T UPDATE if you wish to use PS5 Game Backups and PlayStation 5 homebrew apps, emulators, etc whenever a full PS5 Jailbreak Exploit (PS5Jailbreak Status) in the PS5Scene becomes publicly available.

I dont play anything on PS5. I am on PS4 with a backup jailbreak so I am okay. Plenty time for me.

@AbolfazlFmz It'll happen , eventually does, we all said same thing about PS4 when the PS3 was still been worked on.

We want it to happen asap for game backups, mods, cheats, fan control etc, but the ones doing most the work are looking into how the OS works, its flaws, security and gaining full root access for PS5 Homebrew, Linux.

Guys it’s gonna take more than patience. The hypervisor is the biggest problem and it’s not like ps3 there is security measures that people are struggling with
