hi i plan to update my ps4 pro to 2 terra.
my current fw right now is 4.55
so from i read i just need palce a new hard drive and download recover fw 4.55 right?

Skip 3 minutes in for software only part...(you'll need recovery/reinstallation not just regular firmware file). It's the larger of the two files, softpedia presents you with an option. Choose the reinstallation ver.

Hello, how are you?

I have a fat ps4 that is only 500gb.
It is jailbroken and I only play pkg games on it.
Those games have my save data.
I don’t use psn on the console and it is not online.
I would like to upgrade my hdd to a 2tb seagate drive.
But I would also like to keep my save data.
I already know how to upgrade the hdd and keep the 4.55 firmware.
But I don’t know how to transfer my save data.
Is there a way to do it?
Like backup to usb before swapping the drive and then restore?
Does that work?
If not, any other way to do it?

You can upgrade hdd but can't restore licensed game you bought.

I don't want to restore a licensed game.
I want to be able to reinstall my pkg games but be able to restore my save game data from the old hdd to the new one.
Can it be done?

After HDD upgrade, can i copy my Userfiles (USB Backup/ Export / Savedata) from my PS4 Pro with FW 5.50 on it to my PS4 Pro at FW 4.55.

I am affraid that it will not work...
