PS4GOTDumper for PS4 GOT Block Base Address Jumps via PaulJenkin
Following his Bad_Hoist GIT Repo Fork and Noob-Friendly Porting Guide based off @sleirsgoevy's (Github / Twitter) previous contributions, PlayStation 4 Scene developer PaulJenkin aka @Peeter made available a PS4GOTDumper awhile back for duplicating the PS4 GOT (Global Offset Table) address in a synchronous way allowing scene devs to find the base address of the jumps for each block. :geek:

Download: PS4GOTDumper-master.zip / GIT

Note: This project was committed to Github last August, but was inadvertently overlooked when initially released so check it out below.

Here's additional details from the README.md for those interested: PS4GOTDumper

Sony Adds PS5 Game Trials, How to Bypass Download Trial Start Time
Recently Sony added a Game Trials feature to PlayStation 5 that currently allows those in the PS5 Scene to download trials of Death Stranding: Director's Cut and Sackboy: A Big Adventure through 11:59pm on October 28th and play them for a limited period of time per title before the trial expires. ⌛

According to PushSquare.com, the good news is your progress, save data and trophies carry over should you purchase the full game when the Game Trial expires.

However, the bad news is the Death Stranding: Director's Cut trial only offers 6 hours of playtime while the Sackboy: A Big Adventure trial allows just 5 hours of playtime... but wait, it gets worse... the timer starts as soon as you click 'Download Trial' on the PS5 console or 'Add to Library' via the Web-based PlayStation Store.

Seriously, Sony?! If it takes 3 hours to download Sackboy, then you actually only get to try it for 2 hours. :noexpression:

 Fortunately Eurogamer.net shared a PS5 Download Trial Start Time Bypass courtesy of Redditor jsnals, to quote:

1- Make a new Account with Same Region with your main account
2- Click Download Trial on New Account
3- After Download, Go to Main Account and Click on Download Trial
4- Because you downloaded before, you don't need download again and can play
5- Enjoy

He notes this work-around doesn't allow you to keep playing trials extending the time limit until you beat the game though:

No, but the trials have a limited time that starts when you hit download game. So if you live in a zone with bad Internet connection, you can avoid wasting almost the full trial time downloading the game.
The Elder Scrolls Online Deadlands PS4 / PS5 DLC Unlockable Free in Event
The Bounties of Blackwood in-game event is going on now through October 12th at 10:00AM EDT, and Elder Scrolls Online players who own ESO's latest Chapter can unlock the upcoming Deadlands PS4 / PS5 DLC for free! 🤩

Below are all the details courtesy of Zenimax Online Studios Lead Content Manager Dominic Davies, to quote:

The Bounties of Blackwood in-game event is now live, allowing you and your fellow players earn bonus rewards when delving into the Blackwood Chapter zone.

During this in-game event, in addition to bonus rewards for adventuring in the zone, each time you earn the Blackwood Pathfinders achievement, you add to the community’s progression on the Bounties of Blackwood meter, unlocking unique collectibles and free access to the upcoming Deadlands DLC.

Once the event is over, all unlocked rewards (note: Deadlands is playable November 16) will be available to be claimed in the in-game Crown Store by Blackwood Chapter owners.

Ready to explore Blackwood and earn these fantastic rewards? Here’s some quick tips on how to get started unlocking the Blackwood Pathfinder achievement:
  • Check Your Achievements: You can check your achievement progress from your Journal UI. Simply navigate to your Journal, then select Achievements, select Blackwood, and find the Pathfinder Achievement under Exploration.
  • Work With the ESOFam: There’ll be a lot of your fellow players also seeking out the various locations required to unlock the Blackwood Pathfinder achievement. Reach out and see if they can help you find your way — some might even take you there.
  • Be Prepared for Action: While the Pathfinder achievement’s striking locales are beautiful, screenshot-worthy locations, Blackwood is a dangerous part of Tamriel, so before you set out, be sure to equip your best gear and consumables in case of trouble.
  • Harvest and Loot Everything: In addition to the goods you can unlock by getting the Pathfinder achievement, there’s also bonus rewards you can earn by completing Daily Quests, looting monsters, or harvesting resource nodes, so keep an eye out.
  • Earn the Achievement on Other Characters: The Blackwood Pathfinder achievement can be earned by each of your...
The Many Saints of Newark: A Sopranos Story Prequel Movie Arrives
Before the binge-watching days of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul I recall waiting each weekend for a new episode of crime drama The Sopranos to air, and yesterday the prequel dubbed The Many Saints of Newark: A Sopranos Story was released on HBO Max, in select movie theaters and the Interwebs of course. :sneaky:

It's on my agenda to watch later tonight, and here's a brief overview from Wikipedia for Sopranos fans to quote:

A prequel to Chase's HBO crime drama series The Sopranos, it takes place during the 1960s and 1970s in Newark, New Jersey. The film follows a violent gang war from the perspectives of mobster Dickie Moltisanti and his teenage nephew, Tony Soprano, in the midst of the city's 1967 riots.

It stars Alessandro Nivola as Dickie and Michael Gandolfini as Tony, the character originated by his father in the series, with Leslie Odom Jr., Jon Bernthal, Corey Stoll, Billy Magnussen, Michela De Rossi, John Magaro, Ray Liotta, and Vera Farmiga in supporting roles.

If anyone already saw it, no plot spoilers please. 🤫
