Recently PS5Scene game dumper @BedroZen on Twitter called out scene group DUPLEX for 'no honor among thieves' proclaiming they're copying his releases and dumping PlayStation 5 titles he tested first... although @BedroZen previously notes, "I don't have access to the EU versions but Duplex seems to be fulfilling that portion" as dumps from different regions contain varying assets, languages, sizes, etc.
In response, DUPLEX has been including images of the 'source' PS5 game discs used in their PS5 NFOs stating, "We dump our own discs ... so plz stfu" to avoid their releases being nuked by siteops over the PlayStation 5 Scene Rules currently in place (albeit outdated, as the acceptable Image Format doesn't explicitly cover Game File Dumps... only iSO Image format for Discs and PKG Format releases for PSN Titles, Updates and DLC.
You can support these ongoing PS4 game dumping and backporting efforts via the private area release topics for Verified Members, by following and sending @CyB1K aka Cyberpt1000 a Twitter DM for current donation options.
Recently @BedroZen on Twitter made available a Backported PS5 Game backup of Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia which normally requires 5.00 Firmware that now works on 4.xx Firmware crediting @EchoStretch on Twitter for modifying a leaked 'decrypted' pre-release PS5 Debug Package build... however, before getting too excited @zecoxao on Twitter reminds the PS5 Scene it was easily extracted because the modules are fake signed and not really encrypted (so won't work on Retail games) with @CrazyVoid on Twitter adding that in contrast to the PS4 Scene, PS5 Keysetsaren't available yet outside of private groups ...meaning PS5 Backporters will have to wait awhile longer unless more PlayStation 5Testkit / Devkit QA PKGs surface similar to the PlayStation 4Testkit / Devkit QA PKGs that were previously leaked.
Following the previous revision and PlayStation Hacktivity Critical Vulnerability Report, today Sony pushed live PS5 System Software / Firmware 24.01-08.60.00.04-00.00.00.0.1 bringing with this latest 'stability' PlayStation 5 update 24.01-08.60.00 new Parties features among the official changelog details below.
