Following the previous revision and PlayStation Hacktivity Critical Vulnerability Report, today Sony pushed live PS5 System Software / Firmware 24.01-08.60.00.04-00.00.00.0.1 bringing with this latest 'stability' PlayStation 5 update 24.01-08.60.00 new Parties features among the official changelog details below.

As always, DON'T UPDATE if you wish to use PS5 Game Backups and PlayStation 5 homebrew apps, emulators, etc whenever a full PS5 Jailbreak Exploit (PS5Jailbreak Status) in the PS5Scene becomes publicly available... or testing PS5 Game Backup File Dumps and PS4 Fake PKGs (FPKGs) on PS5 with PS5 Hacked consoles using the PS5 4.03 HEN PS4 FPKG Enabler, PS5 4.50 HEN PS4 FPKG Enabler or PS5 4.51 HEN PS4 FPKG Enabler payloads or others using the PS5 Kstuff Porting Tool.

  • In the Parties tab, you can now see the list of parties you've joined in the past. You can easily restart a party just by selecting it from the Recent list.
• We've updated the device software for the upcoming PULSE Elite wireless headset and PULSE Explore wireless earbuds.
  • You can now use the sound equalizer feature.
  • You can now use the sidetone feature, which makes it easier for you to hear your own voice in voice chats.
• When you have a PULSE Elite wireless headset (upcoming) or PULSE Explore wireless earbuds nearby, a notification will now appear to let you connect to them quickly. You can now easily switch the connection from your PC to your PS5 through this notification.
• We've improved system software performance and stability.
• We've improved the messages and usability on some screens.
