Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Halloween Scream Event is Underway
PlayStation 4 gamers get your scream on as the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Willard Wyler's Halloween Scream event is now underway where players will face terrifying challenges and can win free Halloween-themed loot! 
Here are the details from Activision Editorial Manager Kevin Kelly, to quote: Beginning on October 9, this event is designed to unleash pure terror with new game modes, Double XP, and free Halloween-themed loot. Just pray you survive long enough to enjoy it!
Undead Big Bosses Await
The most challenging part of Willard Wyler’s zombie experiences are always the big bosses, and the brand-new Boss Battle mode will zap you straight into the fight with the Big Boss at the end of each zombie experience.
Starting with Zombies in Spaceland, and eventually spreading to Rave in the Redwoods, Shaolin Shuffle, Attack of the Radioactive Thing, and The Beast from Beyond, you can head straight to the ultimate zombie encounter to see if you can take down these undead monstrosities.
Survive The Post-apocalyptic Wasteland Of Carnage
Carnage is one of the Multiplayer maps from the fourth Infinite Warfare DLC Pack, Retribution. This post-apocalyptic wasteland is also the home to one of Call of Duty’s deadliest environmental hazards: The Burninator.
Devious players will punch the button and activate the fire trap just as their opponents enter a barbecue they wish they’d never been invited to. Carnage will be free to play on its own playlist from October 12 through November 1, and will also offer up Double XP.
Treat Yourself To Some Sweet Loot
During every week of Halloween Scream, players who log into Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will receive a free Halloween-themed Supply Drop, except for the last week, which will drop an extremely cool item during the final week that you won’t want to miss. These Supply Drops can contain weapon variants, camos, a Calling Card, or even a new Rig skin.
Players can also get a free cosmetic item every Friday during Halloween Scream, and the Quartermaster will have Halloween Hacks every week, so make sure you log in often to stock up on these sinister surprises.
To receive the free items during Halloween Scream, players need to log into Multiplayer between Monday and Friday morning while online and visit the Quartermaster.

FIFA 2014 PS4 Game Dump by Knights of the Fallen (KOTF)
Since their Knack release PlayStation 4 scene group Knights of the Fallen (KOTF) are back with another PS4 1.76 friendly game dump... this time being FIFA 2014 because why pay $2.99 in the store when you can put that towards a cup of coffee, amiright?

New PlayStation 4 Homebrew Demo by BigBoss with Music by Estrayk
The PlayStation 4 BigBoss is back since his first demo of a basic PS4 homebrew grid running on a 1.76 jailbroken console followed by LibOrbis Libraries & Samples, this time demonstrating some tunes in his latest video as [PLAIN]PSXDEV[/PLAIN] on Twitter for old skool sceners to enjoy!
He also sends greets to all of the PS2Reality crew and credits Estrayk of scene release group PARADOX (PDX) for the music included.
If you weren't in the scene (or even born
) back then you may not appreciate the nostalgia, but it's definitely another stepping stone further advancing PlayStation 4 homebrew development for everyone present day!

Sony Responds to PS4 Error Code E-801809A8 on 5.0 OFW Upgrades
Within minutes of PS4 System Software / Firmware 5.00 being released widespread reports of PS4 Error Code E-801809A8 surfaced during 5.0 OFW upgrades despite going through at least six NOBUNAGA Beta Revisions resulting in PlayStation 4 consoles being bricked. 
Many of them had a detached or broken / malfunctional Blu-ray BD-ROM drive but not all, and today Sony Online Support finally responded after affected customers petitioned with the following statement, to quote: "HI folks, Thanks all for reporting this, Just to confirm we are aware of the issue and are investigating."
Here's to hoping Sony sorts out a solution to this issue in a timely manner and doesn't end up charging victims of their negligence to ship the consoles back for repairs.
