PSXHAX Discord Server for Voice / Text Chatting and PS4 Dev Room

If the world-famous PSXHAX Shoutbox doesn't satisfy your appetite for abuse, boredom cures, drama, emojis, funny sh!t, memes and scene luvins... recently @VultraAID and @Lucii set up a PSXHAX Discord Server that utilizes DiscordApp.com's voice and text chatting with a bunch of rooms from announcements to global news to PlayStation 4 help and also serious cat PS4 development discussion.

We currently have the Discord widget integrated into the sidebar which is visible when Logged In for Registered PSXHAX.COM (or psxhax.com) users.

Back before the pound sign was referred to as a hashtag we used to do hilarious phone pranks via mIRC on EFnet, and although these days I no longer have the time (nor mic) to join in the fun I'll still hop on the PSXHAX Discord Server a few times a week to send sh0utz and gr33tz to whoever is idling there.

@JarJarBlinx we don't ban forum members based on what they post elsewhere, that is not our concern... only what they post here on the site.

@PSXHAX When i saw you thread No Shoutbox Thread my first impressions were minimal but here is your Reality check. Although i can tell you your making a huge mistake..there likely hundreds of news sites but what makes your different is not only the shoutbox but the people actively in it.. we can get our news anywhere (and sooner).....but you dont see ps3hax haveing a shoutbox.... my point is you cannot survive (your website atleast) without the shoutbox like the Wii would have never been as big as it is without the motion controls... and honestly only 2 things kept me coming back the shoutbox and because i was a mod but not everyone is a mod (yet)....disagree if you want but...i know theres some truth to my statement (honestly thats why discord was great too)

P.S your reasoning was B.S... if i didnt know you well i would have thought you gotten Salty and removed it ... i will still be here but..idk what the future holds

I merged your post here, and while I personally am not a fan of chatboxes if it's what keeps people like you coming back I am fine with them as long as others don't attack the server by overloading them with requests.

Believe it or not though most of the people who visit here don't even see the Shoutbox (all the 'guests' online all the time, as guests can't even read it unless they register and login) and then they are no longer guests.

I guess time will tell what happens from here with it.

It did not full with requests.. all the server resources where filled up meaning.. sql storage or hdd storage would off maxed out and would stop anyone accessing the site untill there was some data wiped
