Android App to Host PS4 Exploit and Payloads by Stooged

Following the PS4HEN on Android Phone tutorial and my recent PS4HEN on Wifi USB Drive guide, I put together an Android app to host the PlayStation 4 exploit and payloads.

You have to setup a wifi hotspot with your phone/tablet and connect the PS4 to that hotspot or connect the phone/tablet to the same network the PS4 is on.

Then install the app and open it and at the top will be the address you need to connect to with the PS4.

Your device might ask you about installing an application from "unknown sources" this is ok to allow, it just means its not coming from Google Play.

You just select the payload you want to run in the app and then use the PS4 to goto the address that you see in the app.

To change the payload just select it in the app and then use the ps4 to revisit/refresh the address again.

it has 1.3 built into the stored payloads that are generated on the first time run of the app.

you can download the updated ps4-hen-vtx.bin and put it into the ps4_payloads folder.

I didn't want to make it 100% persistent with the inbuilt payloads just incase people wanted to use old versions of the payloads but i will update it to do a 1 time check when it is run and update the payloads if the app has been updated.

I just downloaded PS4 serve 1.4 and does it came with the PS4HEN 1.3 instead of 1.2 ? T

yes it comes with hen 1.3 since xvortex released 1.3.

it will now update the payloads in the ps4_payloads folder when the app is updated.

or maybe i should say "improves system performance" lol

Okay..still having troubles. Here is what I've done:
Turned off data on phone
Setup hotspot with wifisharing on phone
Run app so it shows IP address
---- go to ps4
Turn on network and connect to Internet
Setup connection...use wifi..custom.....and I can see phone
Enter password
Ip settings.....manual (enter ip from phone 192.168.43.1
Mut settings says 1500??
Proxy server (have to go to use because that is only place to enter a port number?)
So I selected use and enter :
Http://192.168.43.1
8080
Test internet connection:
Ssid = phone
Obtain IP address = successful
Internet connection = faileddddddddddd????????

What am I doing wrong???

Maybe im wrong, but i figured you need to create automatic wifi connection from ps4, automatic settings, then in browser you enter ip adress from android app.

Not sure, didn't have time to test yet.

But, on the other hand, if you turn off mobile data, then yoi dont have internet connection, per se...

you are not using a proxy.
you don't enter a port number anywhere

you just goto http://192.168.43.1:8080/ on the ps4 webbrowser

@stooged if I turn on the ps4 and simply go to "internet browser" it just says "sign into PlayStation network" when I click on that it says "a dns error occurred. (Nw-31253-4). .?

You will have to run the 1 time enable webbrowser patch because the www is locked.
