I will post this as a separate thread from the PS4 PKG2USB as the 2 payloads vary and it saves confusion.

Original Post: I was playing around with the ext0 mount and recreating the file structure that would be there if the pkg was installed to external storage.

There is a trick I found where if you copy the CUSAXXXXX folder from /user/app to /mnt/ext0/user/app and then unplug the hdd and plug it back in it causes the ps4 to do a repair and then the game is recognized as installed on external storage and from there there are other issues.

BUT with the great work SiSTRo has done in PKG2USB with the symlinks its a lot easier to manage with exfat and just normal USB.

So building on his PKG2USB and symlinks I modified what I was working on for the ext0 mount to work with the usb0 or usb1 and symlinks.

This payload searches the entire /user/app folder and copies all installed fpkg games to usb from the system drive and creates the symlinks like SiSTRo has kindly shown us the ability to do.

If you want to target a single game not the whole folder use PKG2USB.

If you install more games just run the payload again and it will copy any new games to the USB and so on.

With symlinks you are making a link to a directory so you want to pick which USB port to have the hdd on and keep it on that same port or the links will point to the wrong directory. USB0 is what I use.

Thanks again to SiSTRo, xVortex, Anonymous, CelesteBlue!

Having trouble getting this to load, I use the original hen tab, then launch the apptousb.bin from NetCatGUI program. I see the prompt on my PS4, then the 2nd "unplug USB" prompt, then I get the 3rd prompt and out of memory error screen and nothing else happens...

@antonio010 I used to get that with an older version. Are you sure you are using the latest v7 release? Also try the .js release, the one I tried before and got memory error was when manually sending the .bin payload.

@Tanmay007 Yes, I'm getting the same exact error you posted in page 2. I've tried v6 and v7, no change. I'm not sure how to use the .js version, is there a thread that explains it?

Thanks!

Never mind, I got it working...

@stooged i dont understand your ini file.

After i send the payload he makes a ps4 folder on usbdrive and in there was one cusa folder but itwas empty

On the root of my usbdrive are 10 fpkg games but they dont move.

How should i set the ini file to make symlinks of my internal games on usbdrive without copying the games?

@stooged You should keep in mind that the average user has no idea what it means "uncomment", I advise you to make it clearer in the main message of the thread to avoid recurring questions, also let there clarify the theme of the maximum space on the hard drive and everything that you explained so well in the comments because they are already recurring questions.

Install the 10 fpkg games and then run payload.
Dont modify the ini file.

Its default setting is simple, it will copy all installed games to usb.
