GenGP4 (Replaces PKG Kitchen) by XVortex, PS4 FTP via Webpage

Today PlayStation 4 developer @XVortex kicked us out of the kitchen by announcing that his PKG Kitchen is no longer needed, and introduced his latest GP4 Generator all-in-one utility called GenGP4 which combined with the FTP server is everything you need to dump PlayStation 4 games including a more reliable tree-decrypting method alongside shorter instructions below!

To quote: "No more .pkg extraction, .pfs extraction, file merging etc. FTP server dumps the game to HDD folder, then gp4gen sanitizes this folder and generates the .gp4."

To quote from @XVortex's condensed guide on using GenGP4:

1) Turn on the console, insert disc (or run psn title), install all game patches;
2) Plug-in the USB stick, run the ps4-dumper payload (.bin or standalone);
3) Run your game, make sure to get main menu, minimize game (PS Button);
4) Wait till completion. When the process is finished the lights stop blinking
and console will shutdown automatically (it is normal, not a panic shutdown);
5) Turn on your console, remove disc, uninstall the game (for further testing);
6) On PC: Plug-in the USB Stick, then open gengp4.exe, point into CUSAxxxxx dir
and press Generate .GP4, You should get the 'Done.', then press Save .GP4;
7) Open .gp4 in the orbis-pub-gen and build .pkg file
(You can get the orbis-pub-gen tool via PKG_Fake_Generator);
8) Run PS4HEN payload, install and test your .pkg;
9) Enjoy.

I suffered the same issue that's because KillZone haz more than one encripted prx look at the folder PRX that will need decryption to work.

Also infinite dumps more than 200gb and no a valid dump

So, how would I go about doing that or am I screwed for now? Because if I am, I'll just move on to other games and do Killzone when it becomes possible.

Here for report good all step, dump Wolfenstein as test to 2Tb sata iron diskette, 3 hour dump (decrypt + dump) then power cut, gengpg4 make gp4 file. Tool then make package (2 hour+), but need lots space drive c for temp file on 128Mb ssd. pkg install, run with HEN.

So, I've got Infamous First Light still installed on my PS4 from way back when it was a PS PLUS free game. Could I dump it somehow and make it work or is it just paperweight? The licence has expired a long time ago.

Also @PSXHAX, it says I can't post in PS4 Help due to insufficient privilege? Any problem with my account?

Hello first of all Thank you for your work.

With PKG Kitchen I created PKG of "the order" CUSA 00076 in about 3 hours.

Now with this tool at 11:18 (I'm from Italy) I started dump, now at 14:58 I turned off manually my PS4 because was still working.

I opened my hdd and the directory CUSA00076 is 485 GB. Lot of files has 0KB.

I'm creating a form for receiving the debug strings for further investigations..

Guys, lets do this more systematically and report which games are experiencing the infinite loop bug and list details about it.

Post what version of Gengp4 tool, dumper version, Game name, Games CUSA #, how long you left it run, how large it was on the HD after stopping, and anything else of note (Game has 7500+ files, game has multiple encrypted prx).

It would be interesting to see if it is certain games that don't work for all. If it is, then we could at least prevent people from wasting time and duplicating other bad efforts. Also, what is the longest someone waited dumping but still got a SUCCESSFUL rip?

Yesterday I tried "the knack" waited 3 hrs for dump. Say light was not blinking to put in my PC and was not complete. I use a 500 gig external HDD. The game is 34gigs and HDD was full when I checked on PC. Only use HDD for dumps.
