How to Host PS4HEN for 4.05 on Wifi USB Drive Guide by Stooged

Recently there has been a few threads that allow people to run the PS4HEN from things like Android or Rasberry PI and it came to mind the same thing can be done with little effort from a wifi usb stick.

So here is a bit of info on that... the wifi stick i used was a 16gb Connect Wireless Stick and you will need PS4-HEN-VTX.

Just plug the usb stick into your pc and copy the exploit folder from the PS4-HEN-VTX (master.zip) archive to the root of the drive.

Unplug the usb stick from the pc as it will not serve files over wifi while it is plugged into the usb port.

The wifi usb stick has its own battery and you can turn it off an on pressing a button on the side of it. turn it on, a light will flash on it to indicate that it is on.

Goto the PS4 wifi network settings and look for the SanDisk Connect XXXXX ssid and setup the connection using the auto settings, there is no need to set dns and stuff.

Once the ps4 is connected to the wifi stick open the WWW broswer and goto http://172.25.63.1/ and you should have the list of files on the stick.

You can then go into the exploit folder and select index.html and it will launch the exploit.

You can also make a bookmark to http://172.25.63.1/myconnect/exploit/index.html and it will launch the exploit straight from the bookmark

There is also some settings you can use to change the ssid and add WPA2 password to the wifi connection and set the power save timer (auto off)

Remember to download the Sandisk connect app on your android phone and give your WiFi usb a name and password coz it is another WiFi that anyone in your area can see.

I used to use Asif's vortex exploit from PC and used a local DNS from PC using his exploit.

I would set this as my DNS on the PS4.

With the usb method it doesn't matter what DNS you have. All you want is a successful message on your IP address when you test connection.

Make sure you have ipaddess set to automatic when you create your connection to the usb after your power it on

Remember this requires no internet access just WiFi connection

The wireless usb method really is awesome.

I have plugged into the PS4 always and set it to power off after 15 mins as I only need it to launch exploit.

It's completely offline method and have freedom to use my phone.

Also it allows to point to any version of PS4 hen exploit I wish to choose.

It's great if all I want to do is play the fake pkgs

Otherwise if I want to send down additional payloads, the I use Asif ps4-exploit-host.exe from pc

on weekend i will take zsun wifi adaptor from my friend and try this guide with it, i think it is the cheapest wifi adaptor so if it will work, i will write here...

Looks like a very good adapter for other things too, reviews say you can install openwrt on it and turn it into a mini router supporting WPA and host your webpage (eg exploit) when connected to it.

How do you inject the dumper payload from the USB WiFi drive? I cant figure it out.....

i will make a guide for zsun wifi adaptor, probably friday it will be ready

for now i tested dumper, if i dont put a usb stick before running dumper payload, it shut down ps4, i dont know why but when i put a usb before starting dumper, everything works fine. right now im dumping until dawn game...

well... i started my 4.05 adventure with this method, i can launch exploit , is easy ...
What to do after that ???

Now i dont know what to do with the exploit to test, i have no games yet.
Ive experienced crashes, tested different versions of exploit, launched ftp ...

@PLAYER 1 use PS4 hen vtx files and if you can see debug settings you can install games, it is very simple, i never see crashes on my ps4 with ps4hen vtx files, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask
