PS4 6.02 Top Secret Method for Games Rumored Incoming via Zecoxao

For those following, this discussion is moved from the ongoing PS4 6.XX JSC_ConcatMemcpy WebKit Exploit POC thread and based on the Tweets below is not to be confused with M0rph3us1987's 35c3 Speech later this month.

While there is no ETA just yet, established PlayStation scene developer @zecoxao announced on Twitter the following from the embedded Tweets below to quote:

"Top Secret method for ps4 6.02 coming soon..." followed by "reminding everyone that this is a method, NOT an exploit. it'll only be good for things like games, nothing else" and also "once it's patched, it'll be over again."

This rumored 6.02 PlayStation 4 method has also been confirmed as working on 6.20 now, and comes following both the Method to Handle PS4 Fake PKGs & SELF / FSELF and PS4 PKG Install from Internal HDD via FTP & BGFT Method by PS4 scene developer @flatz.

Method will be patched by sony, of course it wont affect your console, but every new firmware update will be patched. Just like 5.05 exploit, its patched in some of newer updates, until you update your firmware you can exploit console, it didn't affect you, but affect all of people who update, and that's the cat mouse chase all the time.

So like we stuck on 5.05 until newer firmware exploit goes public, with this method we will be stuck with that firmware on which method works,and that has nothing to do with going online or to psn. And nothing to do with sony patch, there's no way to evade it. it will be patched asap.

Tha best thing to do for 5.05 users is to stay on that fw coz probably soon we gonna able to play new games on 5.05 with patch methods.. Is not a secret the devs got samu keys....

Thank you for replying! Well, that's a shame. In someway or another i am not 100% against backups, i have my own opinion and that's all.

Anyway, i do not feel like updating my console in order to play 4/5 new games because i do care about homebrew and related stuff. Hopefully they will find a new way to dump and decrypt games without a "jailbroken" console

I've been messing with console exploits and hacks for nearly 15 years and never once have I been bothered by comments like the ones that Mathieulh makes.

You have a choice. Either find comfort knowing that exploit exist, or get butt hurt because you cant pirate the newest games. The choice is yours. Live your life... Obviously he is living his. And i doubt he cares about your assessment of his character.

Probably app the video be the fake pkg as if it were a video and ps4 will accept with the exploit of 5.05 will unlock the game of the padlock I am almost sure of this because in addition to installing the games will have to remove the padlock
