PS4 6.20 Method: Activate PSN Accounts with Games via Jose Coixao!

Following his previous PS4 Game Backup on DevKit PoC, P.T. (Playable Teaser) on PS4 Retail Demo and PS4 Top Secret Method for Games announcement from @zecoxao, today he shared on Twitter the PS4 6.20 method to add and activate PSN accounts with games on the PlayStation 4 via Jose Coixao!

While various PSN Account Sharing / PS4 Game Sharing Methods and the related PS4 Mod-Chips have been around for years, according to the YouTube video details this release method's credit goes to @rmorteza21 (aka @rmorteza21p) with special thanks to the king of kondeh.

Note: For those on lower PS4 Firmware it's recommended NOT to update your PS4 console for this method, as $ony is likely to patch it very soon and then you'll be stuck with a PlayStation 4 console that can't run backup games, emulators, exploits and homebrew with no way of downgrading the PS4 once the 'temporary' method is patched.

Update: The method is now confirmed to be patched as expected!

• Add your account with games to PS4 and activated
• After changing your user for see all games is unlocked
• After going to account with games and wait in deactivate menu
• Remove LAN
• And deactivate account
• Show error DNS
• After log out of account
• All games is locked
• Going to account with games and wait in deactivate menu
• Connect LAN cable
• Led blanking press click for deactivate
• After removing LAN
• See your games
• Not locked and server is free
• Done
• If games locked repeat again

I dont know why the devs cant seem to figure this out. This seems perfectly logical to me. Creators of an exploit announce they have said exploit but wont release it in fear that sony would patch it. Putting an end to the hard work the devs did.

But wouldn't Sonys best response be to never patch it? Allowing the very small amount of devs to keep it, rather than patching it and watching a new exploit then released and spread to anyone who wants it? Maybe that's why sony hasnt patched it. To put an end to further jailbreaking.

Sooner or later, someone will release something, and it will be usefull to just a small % of users.

Seems to me that the biggest problem in this jailbreak theme is that we cannot accept that the glory days of ps1 and ps2 are over, theres no more "wow lemme buy console and jailbreak it same day", or buying "modded" consoles.....

Those days are gone, finished with ps3, we are just scratching the barrel here, as soon as people accept that there will be no cfw, no new exploits on regular basis... It will be all great

I know this thread will get locked, but still i have a feeling that SOME devs behave like they are some kind of god.

I mean first they announce something, way before it is finished, my point is why are you doing that?? To gain some attention and your fans ask you the date, than they will show there true colors.

I am really happy that i got a ps4 with 5.05 and play all the great games for free. So the devs that made this possible i am really greatfull to them.

I really enjoyed the ps3 scene, with all the cool apps etc, but i don't see that happening with the ps4. Just look how fast the switch scene is progressing. Hats of the devs there.

a lot of this drama stemmed from Vultra egging people on with his twitter page last few weeks and on reddit. Since then he has cleaned up his act on twitter. Granted, his actions do not necessarily mirror others involved behind the scenes. People were simply salivating for information from whatever source in combination with official staff posts here.

Specter did make an appearance last night on twitter stating he did not have the technical knowledge or tools to proceed. Something about f00d over samu. Briefly reading on samu it sounds like a difficult process.

Sadly, unless there is some sort of team management going on it looks like ps4 is on the backburner again as they focus on toying around with the vita.
