PS5 WebKit Open Source Software Live, PS5Scene Devs Hunt for Exploits!

Today Sony put live several PlayStation 5 pages including a System Software License Agreement for the PS5 System (EULA) page and a Source Code for Open Source Software Used in PlayStation 5 (PS5 OSS / WebKit) page similar to the PS4 OSS WebKit that includes both a PS5 WebKit and PS5 WebKit JavaScriptCore downloads for PS5Scene developers to examine for potential exploits!

just a simple questions for devs, so if even they found a webkit that means they need a kernel and the problem is to find a kernel exploit not the webkit?

Yes, but in the end you still need both in order to make the jailbreak functional.

if you keep the console offline can you still play games or does the console have to be connected to the internet to play games? my country gets the console on the 19th so thought i would ask this before i get it.

@rick19011 Sony will break your plans, in case you are trying to play on it. 95% yes you will have to update in order to get online or play certain games, not my case I wont play or get online.
am gonna stick to pc and ps4 at the moment.

I would say it may actually be possible to get an exploit sooner rather than later with the ps5 as it seems to be more of an extension of the ps4 and thus people might already have some experience with what they are looking for... you never know... but still... certainly not soon
