Tutorial: Inject PS3 Backup and Transfer LIC.EDAT Using PS3Xploit

I believe it depends on your ps3 version, firmware etc. If the settings need adjusted. Mines still hit or miss. Once i got as soon as I searched. Then 2 in a row then nothing for awhile. Totally random if the search will work or not

Mine is 4.82 superslim 4201A
If anyone is having success rates with certain settings let me know.

I'm going to inject uc3 and diablo3 together today. Diablo already works but need to check uc3.

Total size of the backup would become 47gb+15gb.

@puneet888 all games have LIC.DAT on the disc.
After you convert the game, the same file turns into LIC.EDAT

One of the games, I checked has LIC.EDAT with size 65,872 bytes. So, I guess I will convert that to Hex ? = 0x10150 @redlofredlof

In other news, power went off Midway during my ps3 restoration. No idea now if it's going to work. I guess i will have to wait till power is restored.

Open edat file in hexedit select all then look at bottom ot should say 10190 or 10150 or whatever it is

I used this decimel to hex converter. And was able to successfully "execute chain" and play the game
