New PS4 Gamesharing Method Rumored as Incoming via Zecoxao
Since the last rumored PS4 gamesharing method was released and inevitably patched, @HackYourPS4 passed along confirmation that there was one private gamesharing method remaining... but perhaps not for long, if the incoming release is it?

According to PS4 scene developer @zecoxao on Twitter, to quote: "yet another gamesharing method is coming soon, for PS4 consoles."

:alert: Note: For those on lower PS4 Firmware it's recommended NOT to update your PS4 console for this method, as $ony is likely to patch it very soon and then you'll be stuck with a PlayStation 4 console that can't run backup games, emulators, exploits and homebrew with no way of downgrading the PS4 once the 'temporary' method is patched.

PS4KernelDlSym Symbol Resolver / List Creator Reference Analyzer by Seb5594
This weekend PlayStation 4 developer @seb5594 (Twitter) made available on his Github repository a PS4KernelDlSym Symbol Resolver / List Creator which is a tool for PS4 scene developers that analyzes all direct calls to ps4KernelSym dynamically generating an offset table containing all kernel symbol names for reference. :geek:

Download: ps4sdk.ps4KernelDlSym.List.Creator.exe / Gee.External.Capstone.dll / Gee.External.Capstone.xml / GIT

Version 1.00

This release matches the requirements from README (https://github.com/seb5594/ps4KernelDlSym-reference-analyzer/blob/master/README.md).

I am unsure about the 32 bit (x86) disassembler library, because this application runs on my PC, even if all dependencies are deleted. That's the reason why i am giving out all dependencies. If some resource is not required, open an issue!

And from the README.md, to quote: ps4sdk ps4KernelDlSym Symbol Resolver

The PS4SDK ps4KernelDlSym Symbol Resolver is a windows forms application (requires .NET 4.0), which has been made to fit my needs for ps4 compiled payloads using as example my version of Hitodamas open source PS4 ***. This tool has been made to generate dynamically an offset table containing all kernel symbol names and the corresponding offsets, where are getting called in a executable.

In the current state, it is impossible to resolve stacked function calls. If I feel to, I will extend this application with the feature of stacked function calls. You are permitted to use/edit this source code, as long you are referencing to this project.

PSA: Report Update of YouTube on Video Game Hacking Channels
Awhile back we covered a report on YouTube terminating video game modding and hacking channels, and following his Fallout 4 PC Mods on PS4 Guide today PlayStation 4 scene developer @MODDEDWARFARE announced on Twitter that recently his YouTube Channel has been crippled and victimized by false claims that led to two strikes from Nintendo over fair use Switch tutorials for educational purposes. 🔨

When he reached out to YouTube for additional details, their reply was less than informative stating in part, "We cannot provide you specific details on what guideline your content has violated." :cautious:

Essentially YouTube is enforcing requests from large companies such as Nintendo while neglecting to provide the individual content creators details on why their videos allegedly violate the community guidelines... as he summarizes this broad issue, to quote:

"This is the problem YouTubers face with YouTube right now. The rules are not clearly defined. Their stated policies are not the same as their internal policies. They don’t apply their rules equally and they consistently allow large companies to abuse creators without penalty."

As a result, his YouTube Channel is able to upload videos again but currently the two strikes remain against it... so he's backing up his Switch guides on his BitChute Channel and exploring other options including LBRY.

Personally I've noticed that many older TV show full episodes are available on DailyMotion when the YouTube equivalents were taken down, however, their responsiveness to purported claims by companies (such as Nintendo) I haven't followed closely to determine if they're as rampant and abused as YouTube claims have been in recent months.

 If anyone else has some decent alternatives to YouTube for hosting such videos feel free to share them in...
