As you know to develop on PS4, game studios use PS4 development systems.

Now, following my PS4 Debug Settings Overview I'm interested in finding how the Serial Number works and with the recent gameplay of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare.

Some Youtubers made the mistake to show the UI of the PS4... and in this UI you can see the Serial Number of the PS4 Testkit.

I've saw 2 PS4 Pro Testkits (DUH-T200AA) and it was enough for me to have a result since I already have 2 PS4 FAT Testkits which I've discussed on Twitter.

• 00-27455734-005XXXX = PS4 Pro Testkit
• 00-274557XX-005XXXX = PS4 Slim Testkit
• 00-27455722-005XXXX = PS4 Fat Testkit

• 34 = PS4 Pro
• XX = PS4 Slim (I still have not found it yet)
• 22 = PS4 FAT

The 4 XXXX could be the number of system given to studios

Following my PS4 VSH_4K_Mode details, this demonstration video has been recorded on a PS4 Testkit DUH-T1000AA for curious people that want to see what a PlayStation 4 Testing Kit looks like with the 6.20 firmware.

This is what a real Sony PlayStation 4 TestKit (used to develop and test video games) looks like on firmware 6.20. This console is used by games studios for those new to the PS4 scene.

This video has been recorded on a real Testing Kit (Debug System) hardware and may be different from a Retail unit

PS4 5.05 Internal Debug Settings Part 1

Yesterday I was using the payload from @LightningMods on my 4.55 PS4 Testkit FAT, trying to do some modifications.

So, I go to /system/priv/settings and found some XML files (pictured below).

I open them, trying to do some modification and replaces them. After that, I went to the Debug Settings --> Boot Parameters and saw a new thing that I never seen before.


This is called vsh_4k_mode.

After a reboot it disappear.


So I open up the files and as you can see I saw the vsh_4k_mode on the XML but I still don't know how I enabled it


Also in the ***s document the mode never appear


Same for all theses settings !
