RootMyRoku: A Root Jailbreak for Roku OS via rmDevNull / Llamasoft
Recently rmDevNull shared on Twitter RootMyRoku which is a root jailbreak for Roku OS v9.4.0 build 4200 devices using a Realtek WiFi chip with help from ammar2 and popeax from the Exploiteers (Twitter) Discord Channel giving end-users control over what channels they install among other modifications like Hacking a Roku TV to Control Lights.

Note: Engadget.com reports the RootMyRoku vulnerabilities have since been mitigated in both RokuOS v9.4 and RokuOS 10 software for those who recently updated their devices... so as with video game consoles, don't update if you wish to root and jailbreak your streaming devices. 
Personally I use a Roku streaming media player to access my Plex Media Server, as I haven't had great luck with the native Plex app on my Samsung Smart TVs.
However, the general direction Plex is heading is quite disappointing over the last 12 months... so I'm open to alternatives that don't plaster the home screen with 'suggestions' on what (in your own library) to watch or spam it with Plex Live TV promotions, etc.

The Last of Us Part II PS5 Performance Patch & PlayStation 5 Game Trailers
Following the last round of PlayStation 5 Gameplay Trailers, today we have a new batch of PS5 videos featuring the recently released The Last of Us Part II PS5 Performance Patch v1.08 targeting 60 FPS for those in the PS5Scene to enjoy! 
To quote from Naughty Dog Director of Communications Arne Meyer on the latest TLOU2 patch update:
"Once patch 1.08 for The Last of Us Part II is installed on your PS5, you will find a toggle in the Display options that allows you to choose between a Framerate Target of 30 FPS or 60 FPS.
This allows you to choose your preferred framerate to complement the rest of the enhancements that are part of the PS5 backward compatibility with PS4 games, such as an enhanced resolution, faster load times, and more.
The team has been digging into the PS5 hardware and the possibilities it unlocks since launch last year and we’re excited about what the future holds. This patch is just the first step of working on the PS5. We’ll let you know when we’ve got more news to share!"

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Fan-Made Game in Dreams by Sharfik1995
Since Sonic: Wild Blur appeared in Dreams and following the recent RE3 PS4 Game Mod FPKG Ports by @diegoshark for the PS4Scene, artist and curator Sharfik1995 shared an impressive Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart fan-made Dreams game crediting fellow dreamers [Unavailable Creation], ce_lew_is, NihTar, redblood23232323, xMightyViciousx, BlueRazzRush and DeeriaTheDeer with helping in the creation.

PlayStation Studios Steam Page Live Featuring PC Games and DLC Content
Recently Sony put live their PlayStation Studios Steam Page that currently features several games and DLC content for PC gamers on Windows, MacOS and Linux systems via the Steam video game digital distribution service by Valve. 
The page states the following, thus far: PlayStation Studios is home to the development of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s own outstanding and immersive games, including some of the most popular and critically acclaimed titles in entertainment history.
To quote from MP1st.com on this news: "The featured game on the store is Sony Bend's Days Gone, which will be out on May 18, while games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Helldivers, Predator: Hunting Grounds and more are showcased, too.
There are also a number of DLC, which is why the number shows as 41 games, but the reality of it is that this is a combination of both DLC and games available. What's interesting about this is that only 24 pieces a games and DLC are actually viewable, and while Days Gone may have some extra DLC of some sort to stack that number up, we doubt it’s an extra 17 pieces of content."
While some are curious if this move may be 'the beginning of the end' for console-exclusive games, others believe such titles can coexist in harmony on both platforms. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Sony Reveals Play At Home 2021 Free In-game Content Updates
Following the previous Play at Home Update, Sony recently revealed upcoming free in-game content and virtual currency from a variety of studios for titles including Call of Duty: Warzone, Destruction AllStars, NBA 2K21, Rocket League and more outlined below from Global Marketing VP Mary Yee to quote: 
Starting May 17, 2021
The following in-game content and virtual currency is available for free via PlayStation Store from Monday May 17 08:00pm PDT (18 May 04:00 BST, 12:00 JST) until June 6 11:59pm PDT (June 7 07:59 BST, 15:59 JST).
As part of the Play at Home campaign, you can get five 60-minute Double XP tokens for Call of Duty: Warzone to accelerate...
