Following the last PS5 OFW update and 10.50 PS4 OFW earlier, today Sony released PS5 System Software / Firmware 23.01-07.00.00.44-00.00.00.0.0 adding Discord Voice Chat, VRR Support for 1440p, additional UX and social features to play or connect with friends alongside PlayStation VR2 Headset, DualSense Edge Wireless Controller, PS VR2 Sense Controllers and DualSense Wireless Controller updates.

As always, DON'T UPDATE if you wish to use PS5 Game Backups and PlayStation 5 homebrew apps, emulators, etc whenever a full PS5 Jailbreak Exploit (PS5Jailbreak Status) in the PS5Scene becomes publicly available.

Proceeding their previous PS4 OFW revision and 10.50 PS4 Beta Firmware / System Software updates, today Sony officially pushed live PS4 System Software / Firmware 10.50 with the PS4UPDATE.PUP and changes outlined below.

As always, DON'T UPDATE if you wish to use PS4 Game Backup PKGs via PS4 Torrents and Homebrew Apps whenever a new PS4 Jailbreak Exploit arrives in the PlayStation 4 Scene.
