June 1st is here, and with it comes the latest PS Now games added to Sony's PlayStation Now digital library for subscribers to check out!

Included in the mix this month are The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Virtua Fighter 5, Slay the Spire, Sonic Mania, Team Sonic Racing and Sonic Forces to celebrate Sonic's 30th anniversary.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition

If your PlayStation 3 has been collecting raindrops as a doorstop the last few console generations, rest assured that Sony just released a shiny new PS3 Firmware / System Software 4.88 Update for it... and as expected their typical vague changelog simply states, "This system software update improves system performance."

As always, it's NEVER a wise idea to update PlayStation Firmware in order to make use of such things as PS3 Custom Firmware (CFW), downgrading, homebrew, Webkit exploits, etc.

This comes following the previous PS3 OFW update, and from the official PlayStation Site on PlayStation 3 System Software Update 4.88:
