Sony Opens PlayStation 5 Direct Pre-orders, Launches PS5 Invitation FAQ!
It's gogogogogo time! 
Today Sony opened PlayStation 5 direct pre-orders for US-based consumers with a valid PlayStation Online ID to register for a PS5 console pre-order invitation from PlayStation alongside an FAQ outlining pre-order invitations. 🎟
If you reside in the United States (or have a US-based address it can be shipped to) Register to Pre-order a PS5 Direct from PlayStation, be sure your email address is the one associated with your PSN ID (manage it HERE) and if selected you'll be contacted via email before pre-orders start.
According to their PS5 Direct Pre-orders Page, reservations will be taken on a first-come-first-serve basis, so once you get an invite via email you're encouraged to follow the instructions and act fast.

Following yesterday's Godfall Hinterclaw PS5 Teaser comes trailers for two more upcoming PlayStation 5 video games, namely Nour: Play With Your Food which is a delicious interactive exploration into the aesthetics of food and drink by indie studio Terrifying Jellyfish and the perfect puzzle match of two video game legends in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Ultimate Puzzle Match by Sega of America.

PS4 System Software / Firmware 7.55 is Now Live, Don't Update!
Since their previous revision and the 8.00 PS4 Beta, today Sony pushed live the latest 'system performance' update in PS4 System Software / Firmware 7.55 which many suspect fixes one of the recently reported vulnerabilities in the PlayStation Bug Bounty Program. 
If this is the case, here's to hoping whoever cashed in on it will follow in the footsteps of theflow0 and after getting $ony's approval (disclosure log) publicly release the exploit that lead to the last PS4 Jailbreak so that scene developers can further examine the latest findings.
As always DON'T UPDATE if you wish to use PS4 game backups and homebrew apps whenever a new PS4 jailbreak exploit arrives, and we'll add any related Tweets below as PlayStation 4 scene developers have a chance to examine it.

Launching on September 1st, the latest free games joining Sony's PlayStation Plus digital subscription service lineup for PS Plus members are PUBG: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Street Fighter V.
